I would keep the top left and the bottom right designs, but do away with the rest. The designs match, and matching designs are good things most of the time. I also agree with removing the text and toning down the brightness of the stars. Also, you could try using a picture that does not make the characters look frightened of each other. I believe the theme was "Cosmic Love" but they did not look in love to me. Remember, though, this is simply my opinion.
