It depends, I love alot of the old stuff, back when they really spent time working on anime rather than just throwing a bunch of lazily drawn and colored pointy faced ...things...and calling it a day. But there's quite a few good modern anime's as well. Noir, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note (although I like the manga better than the anime), Samurai Champloo, Utena, ect. But I'm finding more and more that alot of the stuff they're putting out nowadays is just awful!

Your First Anime?
The first anime I ever watched was actually Miyazaki's Nausica of the valley of the wind. But if you mean genuine episode format anime, I'd have to say (sadly) it was Pokemon. But after that, I got into Tenchi Muyo, Cowboy Bebop, Dragonball, and whatever else Toonami had to offer. The really big thing I got into though was G Gundam, I absolutly loved it!
What anime has the best fashionable characters?
I'm into the realistic type of clothing, and for that I'd say the first and foremost winner would be Paradise Kiss, since the entire manga/anime is all about fashion anyway. I also enjoy Cowboy Bebop clothing (Spike) and Utena clothing as well though.
Should manga only be japanese???
Because traditional manga and traditional American comics are vastly different species. If an American artist can create something that is true to the standards of what we condisder manga, then yes, their work should be considered manga as well. If thier work is more indie comic or traditional American comic book, then it shouldn't be considered manga. It's quite simple. I don't believe that manga has to be necessarily Japanese, after all, there are many Chinese and Korean manga artists who do excellent work!
Do your parents read manga?
My parents don't read it, but they see it as an art form...

A somewhat funny dream i had recently was that I was walking in the forest behind my friends house when I just kept going and I found a path next to a river, I started following these two guys who were musicians, and there were drum sets and guitars and other musical intruments just sitting in the water like someone was going to go practice on them, and they were the entire way down it too, I just remember thingking, "That can't be good for the instruments!"
