I don't think you should give up for this one already. It just needs more reimprovements after all. I'm not very experienced in vectoring, so I can't give you much comment. But you should do something with the angular shape. You should smooth the selection more so that it's not that rough. Improve the shape. You should eliminate rough lines too... it disturbs the image. Do something with the background so that it's not that plain, too. Well then, I'm waiting your fixture. Don't give up already!

Hey, I like your wallpaper, it's just the right level of simplicity. But I agree with ~CCSchlueter, Haruhi's image is too small. Make it bigger, I suggest the height to be half of the canvas height. For the background, I think it will be nice and more fitting if you use the same blue like Haruhi's uniform. What they call that? Azure? Well, anyway, it'll be better that way, I guess. Font selection fits the chibi concept, but the cloud doesn't. Use not the sharp-angled cloud, rather the chubby one, it'll add more cuteness to your wallpaper. I guess that's all. Hey, I'm a newbie!

Err..., I'm a newbie and I don't really think my comments will help you, but I think rather than "Full Moon" or "Mangetsu", you should put kanji writings of "Mangetsu" there... it'll make the text look more Japanese-styled... But if you'll go on with the romaji writings, that's up to you... I think your wallpaper and your concept are cool, but I agree that it's weird that the scan's stretched. Just improve it. I think ~asa01's suggestions are enough to make your wallpaper looks great, but I think it's better if you have your own concept. It's original! Good work!

My first glance at your wallpaper reminded me of Chobits's Elda and Freya... It should be titled Light Saber & Dark Saber... (^^) Well, 'twas only a joke, though... I think your wallpaper's great. The selection's almost flawless, and the pool theme really fits the image of Saber. But I agree with ~Irathen, your pool doesn't look like one... It's a square-shaped pool, isn't it? Why not make a circle/oval-shaped one? Add something that refers to a pool so no one'll mistake it as a horizon. It's still very simple though, add some text on the left side to balance it, with the color of azure or sand-yellow, the color will fit the theme. Add some sun rays, and give Saber-chan suntan, she'll be very cute with the tan (I guess). Well, anyway, I think whatever comes with Saber will be great, cause Saber is the true definition of m-o-e... (That wasn't my words!) Keep up the work!

I agree with ~clarings. Mikuru Maid looks ready to serve... To add some alternative, you can put the SOS Dan club room for the background. Make the background a little bright so it fits Mikuru. For Mikuru herself, she's yet to place for walling. You should clean the outline a little more before it gets to the background. You can add some vector as finishing touch. To get to the point, do it to the full of your heart because it's Mikuru you're walling.

I agree that the BG is too simple. My suggestion, you put some handwritings of names --like when Mikami writes the names of the SPK team in the Death Note-- with the color white on black background, and add some render of white light, give some blackening drop of blood if you want to give thrilling effects. Blur it. Yup, white foreground on dark background will make Near looks shining. Add some lighting wisely to make it better. Hope my comment can give you a good idea.
