I usually listen to English, Korean and Japanese music. I love Miley Cyrus and many stars of Disney Chanel (since when i was a little kid). Miley's songs are so sincere and meaningful, including Hannah's songs. I love the OST of the following Korean drama series: Goong, You're beautiful, Boys over flower (the drama was many times worse than Japanese version Hanayori dango, but the OST are off the hook!) About Japanese music, I like Yui aragaki, AKB48 and Aiko.

Well, I am a student at Le Hong Phong highschool for the gifted. I'm in grade 11 and I'm majoring Literature. I also do well at Mathematics, English (at school, to be honest) and P.E (^^)

I come from a not-well-developed country, and I was born in a average family with 4 members. I have parents who are old-fashioned and uptight as not to support me reading mangas or watching animes (or anything related to that).

I'm a manga maniac. I love mangas about love stories and school life and friendship. Don't read yaoi or hentai or something so not-my-age like that I also love japanese drama and anime but less than manga of course, because of the worse figures and lack of time.

I admit the fact that i'm a freak in many ways. It's so easy to be friends with me but hard to be my close friends because there are so many qualities to be my good friends (haha). The same goes for love and things like that.

I'm Asian. I started reading manga in elementary school and am still CRAZY about it. Here are a list of many of my favorite mangas. You should try them if you have free time.

Yeah I also love this manga Saiunkoku Monogatari but i've only read 'til volume 2 (it was published in my country 'til volume 2 only *sniff*)

It's true that Manhua is kind of manga which comes from China and Manhwa comes from Korean. Manhua is actually very good, such as ARDOUR (it has 10 volumes in totally but only translated 'til volume 8. You can find it on Mangafox)

There're many great manhwa i suppose but i don't know many of this kind. I just know and love manhwa of Hwang Mi Ri, like I mentioned before in this forum. This authour wrote so many manga but i just find some of those good. For instance:

1. Love like crazy (best of all)
2. Hot-blooded woman (good, but lengthy)
3. Idol Shopping 4.5000 won kiss
4. say say say
5. You are my everything (so-so)

Try reading those on mangafox or onemanga. I'm sure i'll love them.

If you want i can suggest you some of my favourite mangaka. Their art work are all good and the content is not bad. But are you interested in reading shoujo or shounen or other kinds?? I can only suggest you some shoujo mangaka here:

2. SUZUE MIUCHI
3. MIKA KAWAMURA
4. AYA NAKAHARA
5. WATARU MIZUKAMI (LET'S GET MARRIED manga)

You should try searching manga from Kodansha or Betsuhana manga magazines

I think your ways not bad! Once or twice I tried to search for some good manga by seeing the lists most watched and most famous manga on Onemanga.com or Mangafox.com or on other websites. It was actually not bad because it's better to searxh for manga that are...like..were approved by many people. I mean, it must be a good and meaningful manga to be most watched, right??

Moreover, what are the other ways you think are effective to find a qualified manga?? I somtimes search for manga by looking for ones that were made by my favourite artitsts. That way, the manga might catch your taste since you already like the author's style!

You may also search for manga by typing in the google box "best manga" or "top list manga". You can get advice from many people and so choose the best manga to read

There was a time when i was tired of watching anime c=since the one I watch then, gakuen alice, was bad and boring in the middle. But it's not so for every anime so I started to like it again after a not-so-long time

I think i love anime because, just like manga, it takes us to another world, which is dreamy and magical. A world full of miracles and love and emotions.

It feels relaxing when I watch anime, especially the anime LOVELY COMPLEX. It's fantastic!! Funny and cute

The story and art are improtant, too. If the story is c=bad then the anime is just off-topic (totally destroyed). Though today there are many boring anime with great art but bad story and so

I don't get it either. Maybe the light hair make they look more elegant??!! Or maybe it's true that Japanese think that people with light-colored skin or hair are rich? Yeah speaking of which Nagi Sanzenin, one of my favourite anime character, also has blond hair. And she really looks cute and elegant with long hair!!

Haha i can totally understand your feelings cause now i'm in highschool and everyone in our class (Or maybe in my entire grade) except for me doesn't read manga or watch anime anymore (of course they did when they were kids)

Actually for many people they think anime is a kind of entertainment that is meant for children to watch. Just like cartoons on Cartoon Network or Disney Chanel. Therefore also many people give up the habit of watching anime as a result, because they don't want to look weird in front of others. Or maybe they just watch it by themselves, not in PUBLIC. It's kinda weird i guess

As for me i enjoy watching anime or reading comics by myself, not because I'm ashamed or anything like that but because I'm used to do it alone. Furthermore, you can use your imagination more if you're alone. Especially with kissing scenes. It's totally embarrassing to watch them with another person (I don't know why either) :">>

Ohh I totally don't plan on quitting my hobby of watching anime in the future. Anime is a great means of entertainment for me, it helps me relax much so i think i can't ever stop it.

It's of course possible. I have many friends who are in their twenties and they still read manga (of 'cuz the same for anime too) Now when I'm almost 20 i still read manga and watch anime, and annoyingly everytime i go to the manga shop my friends and other people around then say something like "You're too old to read manga" or "does it make any sense to watch these kinds of stuff. They're for kids" and so. I mean, why can't I??

Of course Japan still makes anime in another decade so you better prepare for a "anime for elders" club lol ^))^

Everyone in my family, except for me, of course, totally doesn't know anything about anime or manga or even Japanese dramas. I'm the only one in my house who's into those kind of stuff. But i have a five-year-old sister and i'm sure i'm gonna force her into joining me when she grow up, hhehe. I even bought a set of Doraemon and other great anime series for my sister to watch. And a bunch of manga, too!!

As for my parents alone they think anime and even manga are nerdy and a waste of time. Evertime my father sees me watching anime he tells me to quit it and study harder ^_^

I think nowadays there are more and more funny and meaningful anime which you could watch with your family. I haven't figured out a specific name but I mean, there must be, right?? 'cuz anime is not for kids only i guess

I used to really love the series Sailor Moon when I was young. The manga of it is great and meaningful and interesting. It tells us a lot about friendship and things like that. It's a wonderful story made of miracles...and so on

However, that is just what I thought when i was a CHILD, now to me as an adult is rather odd and...I don't know...old-fashioned. Furthermore, the drawings and scripts are not good enough compared to all the famous mangas now such as lovely complex or gakuen alice. The content of it is still great, though, but i don't really like the artist's style anymore, that's the point!

The anime I found on the internet was in poor quality so I don't have any idea how great it is. Guess you should try the manga first! Still an amazing magical story!! Worth to watch (If YOU HAVE TIME cuz it is LENGTHY, anw)

I don't usually watch anime so don't know much about this However, as you explained the "could have been better" above I think to me it's GAKUEN ALICE and CHOBITS At the beginning they're all so good. The drawings, the content....were great. But after several episodes they turned out to be so lengthy and off-topic. They just made me bored and didn't want to watch anymore. It was a waste buying those videos _"_

Personally I think this is a so-so work. The drawing is nice, the brushes are good but a little bit jaggy, maybe Sorry I'm not a professional so this is fine to me (As expected of first time doing the vector)
