lol it took me a long time to save up some paper, and when i got enough to get a few scans i click the wrong one -_- so i cancelled rite away and press back..... but it charged me 50 papers already.... so i thought i may as well download the scan even though its not what i want..... so I clicked on it and it charged me another 50 papers...... life sux.....

Personally, i think the ipod is a piece of poo..... I have the video ipod because i wanted to transfer files on the go from a camera on my trips, but the whole filmware of the ipod is so crappy its not funny.... the retarded way to "prevent" "pirate" music means its the crappiest piece of hardware i have ever bought. There are so many alternatives now on the market, such as the creative zen, the new sandisk multimedia player, or even the sony usb mp3 players. I bought a creative muVo after i got the ipod, and I love it to death.

I believe that real life packs a bigger punch, because its easier to relate to realistic things than anime

I love to cook,even though I am a guy(but nobody said guys cant cook right?).Cooking is the most basic basic skills for surviving.The easiest way to cook is of course,roasting.First,pull off all the chickens feather.Make an open fire,dip the chicken in oils and lastly stab the chicken with a stick and put on 2 Y shape holders.Then turn and turn. But the way I like the most is frying,its simple..

I was in china for a trip at the start of the year, and was on one of the air-conditioned long haul carriages with six people to one room (Tripe stack bunk).... and so many is smoking inside that the air turned hazy.........

There was actually an event on a radio show the other day, where one guy had to drink 3 cups of water, and try to tell which one is which:

cup 1: His recycled Piss cup 2: tap water cup 3: some expensive brand of spring water that i cant spell

he can tell cup 2 as the tap water quite easily, but he named cup 1 as the spring water..... and describe it as sweet tasting freshness........

I haven't personally tried that reaction, but It's not as impossible as you make it sound, I assure you.

But that's focusing too much on the method and not on my point. The Earth didn't start out covered in water, it was created in the early atmosphere of the planet and it rained to the surface. Thus, it hasn't always been around. Water is created and broken down all the time (photosynthesis is a common water "destroyer" if I remember correctly.). I was just trying to end a stupid argument that turned out to be off topic anyway.

As i have said in my previous post, it is VERY EASY to create water. Go start up your car. There u go, u created water. And yea, photosynthesis breaks down water and carbon dioxide into glucose and oxygen.

This is the same water dinosaurs drank. This is the same water that's been in Africa. It's all the same water, the same earth, the same air. Nothing is new, nothing disappears.

So people who said "NO" about recycled water are poor ignorant retards (I'm sorry but even in elementary school I learnt about it).

Ummmmm, have you ever tried isolating hydrogen (a gas) and oxygen (also a gas) then throw them together to try to make water? It's not a spontaneous reaction. A far easier method to make water would be to simply mix an acid and a base together, then process out the contaminants. Of course the problem with this is that most chemicals (acids and bases) are mixed and made in water to begin with (they need a polar liquid to dissociate the H+ and OH- ions).

Just as a side note.... why does the reaction have to be spontaneous? and in fact, you will see certain types of hydrogen powered vehicle doing exactly what u said: using isolated hydrogen and oxygen, and combust them together to get water. In fact, combusting any hydro-carbons together with O2 will give u water:

e.g CH4 + O2 => 2CO + 4 H2O 2 CH4 + 3 O2 => 2 CO + 4 H2O

2 C2H6 + 3 O2 => 2CH3CO2H + 2 H2O

Its a far more viable solution than mixing a base and an acid together, because the acid-base idea is like.... an ashtray on a motorcycle.....

When I think of recycled water, I think of water that goes down the drain then is filtered right back up... you cant remove ALL the impurities... I've had recycled water and it tastes like nastier tap water... Thats what I hate about living here... and where I lived long ago the water out of the tap was totally undrinkable. I live near the lake that water came from (water here comes from elsewhere).. it smells really bad and on google earth,unlike the other lakes in the area, its the only one thats a gray/turd color, it blends in with the ground around it o.o Its really nasty looking and made me gag to drink it @&#95;@ Thankfully at my school they had water fountains that filtered most of the nastiness out of it.

Anyway there are some idiots that still poor medicines down the toliet, and since it cant all be filtered this could be very dangerous.

If we can just conserve water by taking shorter showers, watering grass less, using soaker houses, etc. etc, we wont have to worry about drinking grosser water.

Yes, we drink the same water thats been on this planet since the dawn of time. NO new water has ever been added to the planet so we're drinking the same water that people drank thousands of year ago

Hmmmm i am not sure how on earth purified that water u drank, but i can assure u recycled water taste like distilled water. In other words, pretty tasteless, but better than tap water. And the major concern is not that "some idiots that still poor medicines down the toliet", rather its the chemicals that get released with our excrements due to the medicine we take. Even if we reduce our water consumption our population is still growing. So in other words, something will still have to be done.

@ Praetor, in that post I was replying to Ironlynx, I know you and a few others read the article. Are you in Victoria? Based on the population density of any given state of Australia compared to that of the USA (under the assumption more people = more suspended chemicals in water), would you say it is safer in Australia, would that make a significant difference in the amount of traces or the risk of bioaccumulation?

I am actually in Queensland, the El Lino has inflicted pretty bad draught all over this state... as for the tech, i guess as long as they dont cut corners, my bro has been telling me it should be fine (Still.... i prefer drinking rain water rather than recycled female urine with traces of the pill)... not that we get much choice, i am pretty we'll get recycled water... The lucky thing is my house got 3 large rain water tank, so all our cooking and drinking will be from that if the recycle idea goes ahead

Like i said, the chemical engineers said the process is fine (I live with a bunch of chemical engineers, including my bro) and yes i have read alot about it because they are going to be introducing sewage recycling in my state due to the draught. I am more worry about human error (like plugging a sewage pipe rite into our water main) rather than a flaw in the filtration process.

I regret not doing a degree that earns me more money -_-'
