BTW the character in this wall is actually Ilyasviel, right? I toyed with the idea of using that name instead, but for me Ilyasviel is always that small 10 year old brat.

OK I used your wall for a few minutes, and I counted exactly 5 times where my eye was really drawn towards the jadednetwork line. And right after the jadednetwork, I remember the white text in the bottom right - oh yes, I'm running a on a Mac now, Macs are fun - and I just switched to another one.

Just don't say I didn't try. The vector itself is pretty good though, that's why I downloaded it. And the My Lady Love is a nice touch, although at that size, it looks like an autograph, but a woman signing her own autograph probably wouldn't say "My Lady".

I like your wallpaper. The following is a complaint I have with every other submission I saw on the Minitokyo knockout site: Why do you guys ALWAYS invariably do a great wall and then TOTALLY RUIN IT with some hugeass text? To make things worse, the phrases are always cheesy.

The following is a complaint about the position of the text in this wallpaper: It's great, until you look at her crown and you see wallpaper by "jadednetwork.com" and it feels very... brochureish to me, especially when you have that text at the bottom right. You spend so much effort to make something look right, couldn't you at least try to integrate the text into the woman's clothing?

At least it wasn't cheesy.

I really want this wallpaper - but can't you please make it at a higher resolution? Not just a blowup, mind you.

Nothing's rude about Sammy's comment. Perhaps she didn't really ruin it, but I sure as hell know that those black borders are spoiling it, and it looks like nothing really happened to the scan other than a levels and colour balance tweak. If I were to use that scan (I wouldn't) I'd make sure the walls on each side would extend so it doesn't look too empty. Aren't you sure you're not being rude yourself by criticizing someone else's opinion, which as far as I can see is justified?

BTW, not only have I not made any wallpapers, I've also hit the leecher's limit. Just wanted to point that out before someone comes up and tries to be funny.

Real memory is rather fragmented, so in order to make it look to programs like you have a contiguous chunk of memory, the CPU translates between virtual addresses (which is what the programs see) and real addresses... and the paging is only one of the many aspects of virtual memory.

For best performance, ensure that your swap file is on the drive that Windows is NOT on. People make their paging file a fixed size (1.5-2x the size of their RAM) to prevent the file from being defragmented (which is where things like PerfectDisk and Diskeeper come in, the built-in defragger is very inept).

That's strange... why haven't I favourited this before? Tip: Use XFCE4 with XFCE-Winter theme, and this as background. It looks really cool.

Great to see something like this. Recently Animepaper has been gravitating a little too much to those minimalistic, vectorized wallpapers, which are nice, but like paper can grate on the eye after some time.

Looks great with the Teknision msstyle, or WindowBlinds theme, choose your flavour.

I for one actually really like this wallpaper, because it's the first Dead or Alive wall to not actually focus the tits on the center of the image. Favourited. But I'm sure it can be made better.

Nice design, but it would have been better if Rei wasn't scanned in JPG format. Artifacts are clearly visible in her hair. Or is that simply the Sharpen filter? Anyway the scan is rather poor quality.

It's dark. Way too dark. If you wanted to keep it this dark, at least have the reds vary more in hue. And 'Cowboy Bebop' in the middle of the wall just... takes it away.

If animepaper didn't have this paper thing going on I'd snatch up every single last one of your vectors. This is slowly turning me into a vector fan. Huge favourite.

This paper should get a B something, although as a guy who got B-C average in school grades I'm not one to talk. Good job with the colour, it doesn't look flat and the atmosphere really comes through.

And as for the girls... they were great to begin with.

Strikes me as an interesting concept. Not very often I even get to see these Japanese sliding doors in wallpapers.

I didn't know this was KOSMOS... she looks so different... but I really couldn't care less because it still looks great. I think it's the pose that separates it from all the similar styled wallpapers on Minitokyo.
