Appearance wise...Im already doing that. My boyfriend and I have a very similar body type (both very hippy), close to same height, same hand size and I been told we look like cousins.

OP the guy you are talking about most likely has a social phobia. He likes the internet because like most little sites like DA, it he can create a little hug box and ignore/bash those negative comments successively. You cant do that in real life

Truthfully most girls arnt attractive enough to pull off short hair. Thats why guys like long...keeps them from looking like one of the boys.

I use pirating as a way of testing products and shows I am unsure about. If I end up liking it alot I plan on buying it and supporting the company.

If its generally unavailable any other way other than torrents or downloads I feel like its inevitable.

I think anime is not a big part of my life now. I am planning on cosplaying and I do watch a few series but I view it as as cartoon, a diversion. It is not the says all end all form of entertainment and of animation.

You could stop complaining. Get off the internet. Volunteer in some community service and make something of your life.
