Story Time!
At school, I hold the door for everybody and wait for whoever is still walking down the stairs. I smile at the women behind the desks in the Principal's office and I talk to the lunch ladies (they think I'm being underfed and like to give me extra for less). When I hit people, I say excuse me and apologies profusely, and when I'm at the counter of a store, I do the same.
I do all of these things to see what people will do. Because manners are so hard to come by nowadays, they either reply with a suspicious smile or are equally polite - albeit surprised. The people walking down the stairs actually speed up and stutter out "thank you"'s and "you didn't have to"'s (as if they haven't said either for a while).
But it's nice - even the most bad-ass gangster has something nice to say.

When I get bad marks on my exam, I hyperventilate. It's pretty bad. I'm one of those Honors Asian kids who do nothing but "study" and wander around the Internet. But the first one to break is usually me (between my parents and me). I cry - it's pathetic - and my parents can't deal with emotions so they just lecture for hours. I usually take it the hardest because I set such high standards for myself - if those standards aren't reached, I fall apart.
