PSP-3000 and the upcoming PS Vita are better than the DS.
People state the DS has more games available, but because of the versatility that the PSP has you can put stuff like Gameboy Advance Emulators, SNES Emulators, and you can play PSX Games as well, giving you access to a lot of additional games than just the regular PSP games. There's many things and games to do on the PSP that you simply can't do (yet) on the DS. Sure there's some emulators that work on the DS, but they aren't as stable as on the PSP, so you can't rely on them very well.

Pretty much always Japanese. The only Animes I've ever watched in English is Pokemon, Digimon, and the Dragon Ball series. :P
