At the end of July, Kinokuniya cancelled subscriptions and has stopped stocking magazines like Megami, Nyantype, Dengeki Hime, etc. They've had them since the start, and now the content has become too objectionable.
And you know what? I've noticed exactly the same thing. I've been buying Megami Magazine since volume #1 and in the last 2 years, there has been a dramatic rise in the ecchi-ness of the posters. Carefully covered nudity used to be a rarity, but now it's pretty much in every poster.
I pinpoint the change to when Comptiq H's started. Though it was short lived, it upped the ecchi factor in its magazine, and Megami responded. Now with Nyantype, the same thing is happening. I wonder how far they can take it...
