So...

I stayed up all night through the morning (as usual) working on a wall and checked AP. In the SB, @shigemitsubaki was going, "Wtffux why is there 4800p?! Who has that resolution?!" Entire time I was like damn... that's huge. Everyone was all talking about their resolutions. @Nysha with 720p laptop hooked up to a 1080p hax and @hatesyou going, "1024x768 is all I need, son! Don' hate."

Seeing all of this I was thinking... man. I like my Samsung T220 so far that's been serving me for a couple of years. It's 16:10 with the oddball 1680x1050 res but the color and contrast is superb lion face. Then I thought, "I really want a 1080p LED LCD but luckily I don't really need to get a new monitor." About 10m later my monitor starts flickering on/off and eventually blacks out. It still has power but no light! The backlight died and I was going, "Son of a b****!" It still doesn't work so farewell old monitor. ;_;

I had some money saved and went out to shop for a LED LCD. I got a decent one that was on sale. It's a 21.5" monitor. I'll miss the workspace but holy crap. LED monitors are bright as hell. The pure white raped my eyes and needed to tone down the brightness.

Also, I now have 16:9 res, yay. It's kind of a waste on a 21.5" but I didn't want to spend too much. Geezus, $16.00 recycling fee. Blow my balls!
