i'm not a blogger!

Greetings,

After over decade running AP we've made the tough decision to suspend normal operation of the site for the near future. Sadly there aren't enough hours in the day and it was time to make a decision on what to spend our efforts on. It's a pivotal time for our other project right now and we do not have the focus, manpower or system resources to run everything we have got right now.

We'd like to thank the community for their support over the past decade. It's been a pleasure.

yeah,

so i think that the blog is something that should be done regularly. we should find something to blog about in relation to AP, and anime in general. i'd be willing to do it, but i'm not a blogger per se.

sure i could easily log on and just spout my thoughts as i am now, but that's not what paper people is about.

cool thing about the blog is that any admin can write a blog, anyone i decide to enable to write it can, not just an owner like pink, moto, GA and i.

so here's the deal, let's figure out what we want the blog to be, and how often we want it to be updated. artbook news, anime news, AP news, group member news, any such relevant thing can be included.

as far as structure, doesn't matter imo. this isn't a newspaper, nor anything special, just a blog. proper grammar and such are meaningless here. if the writer want to include said things, he/ she can do so of course, but it won't be a requirement.

what will be a requirement, however, is english fluency. some people cannot convey their thoughts very well in english, understandably so. i prefer this blog to be written by someone who is able to do so.

so let's figure this out peoples.

I love the idea of a blog, it makes the people want to express their opinion about a certain topic, also we need more active users anyway -__-...

                    hmm...

                    interesting, and nice new feature of the groups. thanks to tsu for making a blog for scenic and bringing it to my attention.

                    well, there's always been a lot of things on the agenda for this group. some were limited by bugs, and other by code. some of those limitations have been lifted and others are planned at this point.

                    this sheds a ray of hope on PP. we can now do so much more. but let's start simple. let's start with group profile design.

                    character is already decided upon, and we can find a way to implement her. first we need an image of her, that differs from the one used in the AP header. this means either altering the psd, or making another version altogether. we could also incorporate some of the other character design concepts into the page. most of the other designs are on this page. some have broken or dead links.

                    people who are unable to contribute to the character, can contribute to the color scheme. either make your own, and provide the proper color codes, or use something like kuler to make and submit a theme. registering with kuler is free, so you can just save your theme and link to it. which would make the design process much easier.

                    ok ok, i've decided that this should be our first competition in v6. so a thread will be opened for that. to see the details go to it.
