The difference between black lines and colored lines on my old VD entry. I did this about a month or so after the deadline. @GoldenApe always commented on doing colored lines like the ball of hatred toward black lines he is. One day I decided to try it since it was hard creating a background with a vector that had black lines.
The results were pleasing. Not sure when I'll update my old vector with lineless since it doesn't really matter anymore unless I wall it or make a plug-in for it on my next release.

Ah the gif is a cool comparison. :D I like both versions myself. Black lines work on some styles, but for more realistic styles colored or lineless is better. However, making colored lines or none at all creates a different problem - there must be extra shades and contrast to compensate for defining edges more. So some of her shirt and ass would need some darker shades in the creases to compensate for the detail/definition otherwise made from the dark lines.

Yup.
This one is just a straight line conversion. In art class, I always liked to use charcoal because it was fun defining white edges using a dark grey or black back drop. :D

I've just started using coloured lineart myself in the past few vectors I've started Tens, and I agree that it does give your vector a nicer look, but also as Nysha has said, there are styles that Black lineart suits better.
The problem I found was, again as Nysha pointed out, ensuring you find the right shade in the lineart to complement the colours you're using.
I had this problem with my Vampire Maid vector. The first one that I'd started with coloured lineart.
