You really have to love black and white. Personally I prefer it to color. It has so much more depth and emotion. You have to remember colors have their limits not only in range but in ability. And remember you are limited try the resolution and the ability of the technology of the printer, computer screen, or TV.
Even though absolute black and absolute white are permanently defined there are an almost infinite number of shades of grey (not to be confused with the romance novel). And the correct use of the Black & White can create reactions on the deepest levels that people become moved to emotions in ways they do not even understand.
So, don't take B&W for granted. I urge you to master it. And doing so will make your understanding and appreciation not only of B&W but color better, though that is and understatement.
