Trick or Treat by ~chanelqueen17 3 weeks 3 days ago

^nat
After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Your User Page

Your userpage is divided into several sections.

At the top are the usual control panel elements. Below this is your featured wallpaper, if you have selected one. Then we have some information about you such as the answers you have provided to your profile questions and your ID card.

Below this are a series of buttons (or "options" detailed below) followed by your recent walls, scans and faves as well as an area for people to leave comments.

Along the right of your userpage you will find your "info", website link, desktop screenshot, a list of any groups you belong too, and lists of your friends and watchers.

User Status (And "My Info")

Your User Status is your current ranking on the site. You may be familiar with these sorts of systems if you have used online forums, where your status is often determined by the number of posts you make.

However, status at AP is determined entirely on merit. Those users who make the biggest, most valued contributions to the site will be promoted. Those who are found to violate the AP rules on a significant or regular basis will be demoted. Promotion is done entirely at the discretion of moderators and admin's and you can be promoted as well as demoted at any time within the boundaries of the AP Guide.

User status is detailed on a user's userpage, but you will also find a symbol next to their name that instantly identifies their current grade. The following lists the grades, the symbols and gives details of what each grade means:

> (∞) Developer
A super admin - owns/runs the site and provides coding expertise to keep things running.

> (^) Administrator
Responsible for the day-to-day running and overseeing of the operation of the site. Sets policy and controls its implementation.

> (+) Gallery Moderator
Responsible primarily for the approval and moderation of the scan and wallpaper galleries, but also acts to ensure that the forums are orderly, the day-to-day dealings with users and that complaints are dealt with at the basic level.

> (±) Forum Moderator
Responsible primarily for the maintenance of the forums, but also acts to ensure that the gallaries are orderly, the day-to-day dealings with users and that complaints are dealt with at the basic level.

> (θ) Former Staff
A former moderator or admin, granted a special status in recognition of their service.

> (`) Senior Member
The highest normal member status. Senior members have all the privileges of Community members, as well as access to a few additional perks. Expected to be familiar with the AP Guide on most areas.

> (*) Community Scanner
A member that has been seen to contribute a large quantity of high quality scans. Community Scanners have unrestricted access to wallpapers, and can upload scans without having to go through approval. Expected to be familiar with the AP Guide regarding scan submission requirements.

> (°) Community Waller
A member that has been seen to consistently contribute high quality wallpapers. Community Wallers have unrestricted access to wallpapers, and can upload wallpapers without having to go through approval. Expected to be familiar with the AP Guide regarding wallpaper submission requirements.

> ($) Donating Member
A member that has donated to the site and therefore has the appropriate additional privileges (see donation).

> (~) Member
Normal member - what you are when you join. Members are restricted by the contribution and leecher limits. All submissions to the site made by members pass through an approval process where they are vetted by the mods and admins. See appropriate sections for details.

> (!) Banned
A member that has been banned from accessing the site.

Commenting

On your userpage there's an area for other people to leave comments and for you to comment on other people's pages. This works much like the forums and you are free to post anything you like about a person's userpage, their walls, scans, avatar, or pretty much anything else.

To leave a comments, scroll down to the bottom of the page and type your message in the box. Then press the submit button.

Please note that anyone found abusing, trolling, flaming, or spamming in this area will be banned. A zero tolerance policy is operated.

Friends & Watches

Friends and watches are effectively the same thing, but friends are the people you watch and the people that watch you are those that have added you to their friendliest.

When you add someone to your friendliest, or vice-versa, you see a section in the notifiaction/message scentre, where you can quickly browse their submissions.

Managing friends

You can remove people from your friendliest by selecting the "friends" option on the profile editing page (select the "profile" button.

In order to send someone a PM, simply go to their userpage (click on their avatar or their username) and then press the send private message button. This button can be found underneath their bio area.

Type the title in the subject bar and your message in the box below. PMs work like regular e-mails and you should remember to type your new message at the top of the box, to avoid confusion. Try to avoid deleting the contents of the other persons message, especially when communicating with mods, since it can be confusing when people receive lots of PMs every day.

View My wallpapers

As the name suggests, this shows you a reverse chronological list of all the wallpapers this user has submitted.

View My scans
