do you imitate your favorite anime characters?

I've been wondering who imitates them... i sometimes do... with the clothes i mean... i sometimes dress the way they do [like Ran Kotobuki from Super Gals]... my onii-chan says there's nothing wrong since it suits me fine anyway... i also imitate the way they speak like "Hoe" of Sakura and "Oro" of Kenshin... but that's about it...
Well, for me, i think that my friends will hit me with books if i imitate the cartoon character i like...lol
for instance,i like kenshin from rurouni kenshin and it is stupid to dress like him, taking a sword around...my friends may think that i've study till insane...lol
anyway,i do imitate the way my fav characters speak just to bug my friends...like 'haraheta' ( i'm hungry~from saiyuki) just to bug my friends...lol. glad they didn't hit me with a the thick biology book...:twitch:

I sit and hold things like L after reading death note T_T... he's so damn cool.
I don't imitate my favorite anime characters. They imitate me (lol).
Nah, I don't do such things... :P Probably the looks, but not the personality in any fucking way :P

Actually, it was keitaro from love hina that made me get the rectangle glasses. i like 'em, so i'm keeping it. also, the hair, too. the hair doesn't look too shabby, witht he bangs and all. its normal, and possible to do, so i'm also keeping that style.

Umm not really but there is this one kid I know that dose, and no offence to any of you but the way he dose it is really annoying trying to prove that he is better than people beacuse he can draw the FMA symbol on the back of a red rain coat and think he is Ed. It really gets on peoples nerves how he goes pranceing around with it on telling the people that do know what it is how much more he knows about anime. While the people who dont know what it is are like WTF. Well anyways its not just the jacket he likes to cosplay alot and I go to a private school where there are uniforms ^_^; So to recap everyone thinks he is idiot.
I don't act like any anime chracters but I like to imitate anime chracters' voices. I think Osakan people are easy to imitate, like Osaka from AzuDai and Kitsune from Love Hina.
No, but sometimes I unconsciously act so much like a certain character that people think I am. O-o

I like to say things like wad the chaarcters do to makes mine friends go "huh?" other than that i don't really make any special point to dress myself like them...

I only use the word "baka" since it takes less effort then saying "idiot"
In RL, If you imitate anime characters the chance of getting laid would drop below zero imho.. ;)

I admit ther are similarites but i am myself and they are themself. doh.
No, I can't say I do. IMO characters are characters (as opposed to real-life people) for a reason. Fiction and reality should stay separate.

Well i don't...but after watching azumanga my friend seems to act more and more like osaka...it's rather funny but i'm the only one that gets it so everybody else kinda looks at me oddly whenever i start laughing.

Haha. i imitate misuzu kamio's way of speaking from air.
"Gao! Gao! Nihaha~!"

I agree with Dagger, honestly anime ~ anim-ation is not the same as filming real life ... it's an interpretation and in anime's case, always exaggerated. It's not humanly possible for you to open your mouth that wide or have tears that resemble a rapid waterfall. Not that that's exactly what we're discussing here, but I think you gather my point. Even dressing up as the character in question is comepletely unrealistic, for one: wearing the same outfit every day and second of your stinking life is not cool ¬_ ¬ And the majority of hairstyles the character designers come up with are usually some abomination of a fruit basket or something totally devoid of the earth's gravitational pull.
