Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Location Cards? Ok, we don't need to stick with MtG anyways. I just used it as base.

Using the term blue/red/etc magic is a bit awkward. I'd be incline to use Science/Nature/Magic/etc factions instead. Works better with Location cards. The term mana can be replaced by faction points.

This is my second attempt at my green green wallpaper...

..thats a nice wallie...great colour combo...n the char placing is nice...but i think the background (the warp thingy) should go...i dunno...thats just my opinion...nice work...

Try to have the center of the background be in the center of the characters, so it looks more like they're bursting out of the background. Also, since the series is called "Green Green" and there is a lot of green in the scan (ie the skirts) why not make it a hue of green to match? That will help tie foreground and background together.

Um from the size of your wall, I can't make out if the image you used is vectored or if it is extracted properly...try uploading it on imageshack and give us a bigger version of the wall so we can give you better feedback:P

I like the background of the blue version. Not fond of the bevel and emboss effect on the scan, though. A lot of the scan's edges are jagged, so the extraction needs a little bit more work.

Not a bad idea at all! I'm not really sure about the glow around the characters...I'd rather do a fine outline of them using Stroke or make the glow a bit bigger. The text look awkward, get rid of the bevel and make it a little more comic. The title looks fine except that it's a bit umm...pixelated, just clean it up a bit =) Oh yea, and your sig, make it bigger XD That's pretty much it...well, keep up the good work =D!

I played around with the stroke and the glow, and i came to a conclusion that the glow kinda looks better... the stroke makes it look funky > <
but um... how do i unpixlate something > <
how should i make the text look like?
