Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Location Cards? Ok, we don't need to stick with MtG anyways. I just used it as base.

^Dias 2 hours 5 minutes ago
Using the term blue/red/etc magic is a bit awkward. I'd be incline to use Science/Nature/Magic/etc factions instead. Works better with Location cards. The term mana can be replaced by faction points.

°akiranyo 2 hours 9 minutes ago
Majority should decide. They are just lazy. I thinked about mana cards.

^Dias 2 hours 17 minutes ago
Rather than calling the cards land, why not call them Locations?

Assasin's Creed could possibly be one of the greater games of them all.

And its just like Prince of Persia, meaning you have to do all this crazed gymnastics all over the place.

I can't wait to play it!

Gamespy and ign gave it an average review 70-77%.....others gave it 90%....so i think it will be just ok....not that gr8

according to ign "If you play Assassin's Creed for an hour, you will probably think it's a fantastic game. But as Assassin's progresses, its dual storylines and repetitive quests begin to grow tiresome. There are so many great individual elements, but they are lost among the myriad of poor decisions from Ubisoft Montreal. Wasting the big twist on the first five minutes of gameplay is a tremendous mistake, but not nearly as damaging as the ill-conceived assassination investigation quests, which get old fast. The exploration aspects of Assassin's Creed and the combat are both plusses in my book. But those two elements are only a small part of the whole"

and you can watch the comparison video of the 360 and PS3 versions of assassion's creed from gamersyde.... i cant say it here

Assassin's Creed is a technical marvel, but the game play is repetitive.

The graphics are incredible. The sound is also amazing. I loved hearing towns people's commentary. Sadly that also gets repetitive. It was impressive how many and how detailed people were in each city. The three cities where huge and detailed.

The game play was the problem with the game. There are about four different missions. You have to do each type about 50 times. So about half way through the game you'll be tired of doing them. The story related missions where more interesting, but they were few and far between.

I enjoyed the story. I agree that the twist was premature. Hopefully they fix these issues in Assassin's Creed 2.

Neither Xbox360 or PS3 have a demo. They said that due to it's open area sandbox game play, that it would be impossible to have a downloadable demo. I don't see why it's not possible. Crackdown was the same way and it had a demo.

I've almost beaten. It's a solid game. The missions you do before the main assassination get repetitive, there's little variation. It's similar to Spider-Man 2 in that respect (alot of the game is). It hasn't gotten that old, though. Fighting is super easy, and guards just attack one by one. Once you learn counter, no one can touch you. They could've added more difficulty to this aspect of the game. Although, I can't help but enjoy taking on 26278620 guys and coming out of it as victor. =P

The whole post-modern day thingy going on shouldn't be around. It's just dull and takes away from the experience. Ah well.

To be honest, i thought assassin's creed was a very innovative idea form the start but never seemed to get particularly interested in it. It just seems to me very much like one of the spider man games; very fun to wander around and just climb or swing and just explore the areas, but the game itself, hasn't got a very good structure to it and is just repeative and doesn't have enough depth, especially to the combat. I think the designers have been too busy working with the gmmicks of the game such as climbing whatever rather than working out the game's flow and overall gameplay. There seems to be a few problems with the AI aswell, even though it has been highly noted that the AI is very human-like the all the NPC's in the game act very natural.

And now that Assasins creed is out. I was speechless when i push the first button on my Xbox controller. POP seems to be a cheap version of how rich AC is. The battle dynamic is some weel thought of, and the multiple ways to kill your tagets send shivers through my brain. AC is so cool!!

I don't know what PC you need to play the game at its fullest, but I agree with it being one of the best games of the year. It must have great gameplay.
I'll test it in 2 or 3 days when I visit my hometown.
I hope I don't get disappointed..Everyone says how good this game is.

I think AC was a good start to a possible second title. Everything was great except for they needed to implement some kind of real quest system to keep the player doing stuff besides the same save the citizen and running up towers over and over again for each city.

Assassin's Creed is an excellent game. It's is slow, so patience is requited to play it. But if you are an rpg fan, you should enjoy it. The graphics are stunning, so I suggest you play it.

Oh, they plan on making a second, I'm pretty sure this game sold well enough that they plan on making another one. Did you guys use Eagle Vision on the wall? I'm curious as to whether that Asian palace was either Japanese or Chinese, though I'm pretty sure it was Japanese. You just CAN'T mention an assassination game series without getting into ninjas, it's just impossible. XD But aside of which, I hope they improve this game before that comes around. I have to wonder though, what do the post-modern assassins look like?
