V4 Early Release!
Like the new showcase feature. Should get really good wallpapers more recognision. By the way, how does one qualify their wallpaper to be shown here. Does it have to be selected by the mods, or be a top rated wallpaper of the day or something? I want to get at least one of my future walls into this selection and would like to work towards some sort of criteria or standard.
Great work on the site though - makes browsing and that so much easier. Also like the changes to the forum. Please keep us informed on updates - I want to know how to change the CSS code of my userpage ^_^

Mods don't choose the wallpapers that fall in the new showcase feature, it's a script that does the job using different criterias.
Even us mods don't know what are these criteria (only Bantam knows it, I think) because we don't want to see people exploiting the system to plug their works. Just keep making wallpapers, if they'll be good the system will choose them and add them to the showcase. You don't need to know anything else.
It's funny, I log on and i'm like WHOAH! wtf? ahhh the update is here...all I can say it very nice and clean. Good job!
Everything looks fine... though my browser did freeze a bit from loading the scans directory..

In short, we use a magic system to select the showcase walls. =)
I love AP v4. It's a whole lot easier to keep track of new wallpapers,scans, and friends. Awsome job AP staff ^^
With style sharing perhaps we'll make one with all the latest walls at the very top. =)
When compared to the additional features that you'll get, I believe it's worth giving the new layout a try first before passing judgments.
I'm not so much as passing final judgement, merely expressing my fist impression of it. I still stand by my opinon but if it's possible to change the style of the webpage to something more fitting for long time members then I think it would be wonderful ^_^
I think v4 looks great! I especialy like the random walls that are shown on the main page. It gets more recognition and I get to see walls that I might not have seen before and what I missed out on. The whole new system around here is pretty cool. The new features look nice, I'm just not used to them all yet I guess. I have to adjust to it, but I'll get there in no time. I'm pretty pleased with everything! Great job for those who worked and tested on this all! Your all too awsome!

I have a question (sorry again,) other than papers, the id card HAS to be the size they tell you? I am having a problem with that because i can't get that size...

But Im sort of dissapointed in one thing: the limit on the number of scans you can upload, I am one to gather my scans and then sit down one day and upload them all in one batch, and now with this cap ._. it's not letting me :( So I sort of lost my enthusiasm, since I could only upload like 4 before it capped me :(...
I mean I understand it and all, probably due to space and bandwidth usage-- but still...

Because we want to limit the amount of groups only to the real useful ones.

I have to admit, when I first entered the site I thought I had typed in the wrong address! I really like the new design. It's very eye-catching and up-beat. Nice job!
