I'm too lazy to look through all of those posts so, I'll just say two or three things that I think would be great ideas and sorry ahead of time if people have already said it...

1. A search engine!! PLEASEEEE! So, I can type "Bleach" or a tag of a character like "Ichigo" and BOOM! All wallpapers will come up of that anime or tag.

2. A "recently posted" page. It tells you what you have recently posted and gives you a link to that topic. Like if I post in "General discussion/Best Anime EVA!!"(example), I can see if someone replied to it and go straight to that page and reply back. It makes it simplier and faster instead of going through all that nonsense trying to find that topic again and getting to the last page. =)

3. More of a personal thing I want done...I want wallpaper of History's Strongest Diciple: Kenichi!!! Ugh! Does noone watch this anime?? It is one of the best I've ever seen and would LOVE to see some wallpaper of Apachi or Renki....if I could, I would make em but I'm not "Photoshop inclined"

One of the following:
1. The forum moderator has the ability to delete old and/or useless posts particularly to those in the individual anime/manga discussion topics where unwanted, 'dumb' or irrelevant topics are created. This power has been shown by other forum sites such as mangashare.com where the admin is able to analyse the thread, and if it is 'crap' it is immediately deleted.

2. A person is in charge of a particular section of the forum (eg. Anime-Naruto, or Music-Asia Dump) and is able to delete the unwanted, dumb, or irrelevant thread. Obviously the person must have sufficient knowledge of the topic and can either be independant (that is delete thread at will) or may report to the forum moderator to discuss whether the thread should be deleted or not.

The following two suggestions means that there should or never will be two threads discussing the same thing, that there is no dumb or irrelevant topic present in the forum, and that those 'locked' threads can be deleted to save bandwith and other server problems.

The third idea is to place old but 'good' posts into a whole new section. Only the good ones which are classified as 'locked' or undeletable.

Such a seach engine already exists. It however doesn't go BOOM. Try looking in the nav bar for Tags or if its a series go to the wallpapers category page and use the search there.

Again this already exists, members can subscribe to a thread. They are alerted when there is replies.

Staff already have this ability to use at their discretion. Not all favour deletion however as closed threads tend to act as a deterrant.

When your in a wallpaper category, it would be great if you could sort them by rating,how many times they've been downloaded etc.

There may be variations of what I said but not what I said. I may not want to make a thread my "favorite" or whatever but I still want to stay in the conversation. It should automatically be put there so I can easily access it and delete it from my view at my own transgression.

I know there is that "tag" thing but how bout a search bar for tags? Like I said, I type "Bleach" and everything Bleach pops up. No wait...I want not only Bleach but ONLY of Urahara. Yes, a tag does this but going through all the clicks is tedius and just plain stupid to me. Let me type it, click go and have the website do it for me.

The 3rd thing I said as a joke. Has anyone told you that you are WAY too serious...? O.o

Again neno2480, a search of that nature already exists.

Further to that the suggestion regarding automated subscription that allowsyou to add and delete at your own transgression (sic), really needs to be rethought. In more active members situations having to unsubscribe to every thread they add to is counterintuitive.

As for the third part, joke or not it doesn't belong in this thread.

Ok...how bout it leaves your "Pay attention" page after 10 days(or another suitable time) of not checking it..?

Where do you see like a Yahoo or google searchtoolbar on the Home page of AP? I don't see it...I want a quick and easy way to access the anime I'm looking for wallpapers for. Type and submit. Look. Download. Done.

Lastly, who cares if it wasn't meant for this thread?? You really shouldn't take things so seriously...make stupid rules that makes no sense at all. I started off in the correct direction pointing to the thread and then I TOLD YOU that I was saying something totally different and I said the joke. As for your "search bar" suggestion you've finally articulated it into a form that isn't something that already exists. I still maintain that its not difficult to search by the means that already exist however and if you're that desperate, there's nothing stopping you using a Yahoo or Google toolbar to search the site except for possibly that you don't know the search syntax.

Hey another suggestion:
1) How about allowing normal members of a group to invite people like admin of the group do by clicking Invite a member.Its really difficult for a normal member to invite some one over.To invite him he has to send a PM rather than just sending an automated message by sending an invite through the group invite a member option.

More likely, some engine for the admin's group to send notification for the entire member instead send PM one by one (which is a pain).

The developer asked only for inputs regarding to the shaping of APv6 which your 3rd input above was totally irrelevant in this thread. Further to that, it doesn't sound like a joke nor did you indicated that it was a joke. You are not in a position to accuse an admin of being overly serious and then try to argue back by claiming it to be a joke only after being replied to by an admin. We all assume you know the purpose of this thread and provide feedback accordingly. And may I point out that the only the idea was strucked out as irrelevant by hatesyou. You were neither scolded nor berated for that. So please refrain from getting emotional over such a trivial matter.

This version probably already can do it but I've had no such luck so let me know otherwise.

Now. What I'd like is for posts, signatures or any inputting areas to allow and display HTML codes. For example if I were to enter some HTML codes in my signature they would display in the signature. I have tried to use the <code> tag and it has never worked.

That's not likely to happen Day2Dream. Allowing code opens up a can of worms in terms of exploits and nastiness. The code tags (although non-functioning) are intended to allow bb-code to be shown without being parsed so that you can demonstrate to others how to use the code.

Maybe, instead of us making our web page using CSS, maybe there could be some sort Code generator or something like that. Because I'm 13 I find it really hard create my own styles and i would need to learn a lot as well.

Ditpowuh, CSS isn't hard to learn at all. Plus, a code generator won't give you the freedom to create what you really want, and it's more work for the staff. If you are using FireFox, just get the Web Developer Toolbar, and use the on-the-fly CSS editor. Tutorials can be found on W3school.
