Heyo everyone!! Shounen-ai Kingdom Hearts
Yeah I started this and really dont feel like finishing it... I'm not so hot at photoshop or anything so I doubt whatever I did would end up making it on the site neways, but I love the picture nonetheless.

The wallpaper you have uploaded does not meet the quality standards set by our guide. Please post your wallpaper in the session zero forum for feedback on how to improve your wall by other wallpaper artists. This isn't actually all that bad and the main reason I'm rejecting it is cos it's covered in artifacts.
This probably means your file size was too big (in terms of mb). You can read all about how filesize limits work in the guide, but what it boils down to is that you need to use "Save for web" (located in the photoshop file menu) and set the quality to about 70-80. This generally ensures the best balance between filesize and image quality.
Since you used gimp I'm not sure what the equivalent to photoshops "save for web" would be, I'm afraid, but maybe someone in session zero could help you?
maybe it wasnt exactly that they didnt like it, but yeah... i'm using a cheap Photoshop imitation called GIMP and I really dont even know how to use it. So yeah I guess i'm just lazy and dont feel like trying hard enough! I'm not cut out for this. ;P

you should try putting a heading on the top
like the front page of a newspaper =D
you can put your title in the main heading,
write all over it in a newspapery font.
Make it look something like this with the lines and
the diffenently sized fonts and all =]
(of course don't write about local irish bands >.>)
anyway, you don't need great skills to do this,
just patience for all the writing =]
This is a good cleaning tutorial to get the
grainyness out of the scan, try it.

shame they didn't like it. try what cheche said or find a really old newspaper with that old yellow color, a normal picture will do the trick, find a large picture (minimum 2000x2000px) and rezize it down to the pixel size on the wall, this ways i'ts hard to read what the wallpaper says. this is the easy way, or just make it yourself.
just need to install PS and i will post it when i'm done. this will not be a hard work piece but lets say 30 min and i will post
update: it took me 7 minutes and 56 seconds included finding the newspaper and the building.
the scan extraction sucks, but this is my 8 minutes suggestion

well, i just couldn't stand it. I just need to finish this wallpaper, adding some additional text and extracting the scan over again. i will post the finished result here in some hours

the Bg is to blurry and it's empty...and colourless(and if it's that, then it should atleast be kinda of artistic)
the 2 guys are also kinda blurry..and that dosnt look good either, and they are also not extracted really good
so extract it better...dont make it to blurry..if it's dirty(the scan) then clean it or vector it
find something better for the BG
