Lelouch VS Light
Kinda hard to say really. Light wouldn't stand a chance if it was a face-to-face battle. Otherwise, it's impossible to tell who'd win. Lulu has more resources -- the Order of the Black Knights, Geass, Gawain, etc -- and all Light has is his Death Note and Misa, but Light sorta has a Geass-ish power, since he can manipulate people before killing them. I guess it just depends on who has more information.

In my opinion, lelouch is much better or should i say the best than light.light in death note is willing to sacrifice his family in order to create a perfect world where he is a king and there will no be crime committed there. different from lelouch that want to create a world without war, an ideal world where human can live like in heaven.he will sacrifice people for his ideal but only people who are in his plan and not his family or friends.he protect his little sister and his friends even though his life can slip away.i hope in the second season of lelouch, there will be a chance to show his true bright side in the anime.huhu.end of comment.

I would have to say Lelouch any day since hes willing to do anything to get revenge on his father and to find the killer of his mother. Like he killed the only person that he really loved though Nunnally he loves but just like a sister so its a little bit different. But compared to Light who only cared about him self he ended up loosing in the end lol.

Light was way more intelligent and overall better during DN's first arc. After L died, however, he got pretty overconfident and retarded. Lelouch on the other hand maintained his sanity, so it's hard to say which ones better. If I had to choose, it'd be Lelouch.

How so? During the second half of DN, Light became pretty silly himself. Light from early DN would not have been caught by Near like that.
There is no winner.
As somebody posted above, they balance each other out with each other's advantages and weaknesses.
Don't lean on either edge or you'd be biased about them.
Personally I believe Light is more twisted and 'down' for his goal. He will not give Lelouch any mercy for sure.
However on the other hand Lelouch is talented too, as he was able to predict the ENTIRE part that Mao was watching. (during C.C.'s kidnap scene)
I'll also point out that C.C. watches over Lelouch from everything he does, and she'll make sure he doesn't die since they have some kind of bond together. She is also immortal, being shot in the head and all that shit doesn't penetrate her at all. I don't know what it'd be like if she were to team up with Lelouch against Light and Misa.

Misa's useless, as she's just controlled by Light for most of the story. Without her shinigami eyes, she REALLY is useless.
C.C. is pretty intelligent herself and has saved Lelouch a few times. I'd say Lelcouh/C.C. would be able to overcome Light/Mista, simply because it's two intelligent people vs. one super intelligent guy and one immature girl.

Lulu does have more resources, so I'd say he has a better chance overall than Light. He's got mechanics, the smarts, strange powers, and all kinds of other options to counter Light with in a whole variety of situations.

By far, Lelouch (if he has his Zero mask on) would beat out Light (since light doesnt have the shinigami eyes) as Light needs a name and face in order to kill; Lelouch just needs to look at someone and he can control them to do anything. So yeah, Lelouch. ^_^

Maybe Light, because he is more evil than than Lelouch. And smarter.
