I'm interested as to whether or not its worth going to see this movie, it's just come out in the UK, now Bowling for Columbine was a hilarious manipulation of the truth, I'm wondering if its the same this time...

I'm in the mist of downloading it. It's not as funny as bowling for columbine, but it is definitely a manipulation of the truth. That's not to say there aren't a lot of facts contained within, it's just that the presentation and other omissions are very misleading.

It has some funny parts, and is well put together... for what it is. That's the catcher though, as what it is is propaganda. It's far left propaganda. I'm all for freedom of press/speach and all but just the fact that you won't be shot for misleading people doesn't make it a good thing to do <!--emo&:)--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> Not to say there's not plenty of far right propaganda as well.. <sigh>

There's some pretty tasteless stuff it there as well for shock value/playing on the emotions to distract from the facts of the argument, etc. My recomendation for anyone going to see it is to remember that it's an opinion/editorial piece. Take a huge grain of salt in with you, and then make sure to do your own research before you start preaching the Moore gospel. I'd hate to see more Moore-ons.

I saw the movie last week and I think its worth watching. Even though it wasn't as funny as Bowling for Columbine, I still found it interesting. I do agree with Ozone42 about viewing it with a grain of salt becuase it is an opinion/editorial piece, but it is a Micheal Moore movie..so that should be expected.
But if you've liked his other movies then you might as well see this one too.

Naah, from what I heard it's a really interesting movie. And to me it personally seems like it's worth watching just because it's a twist of what's going on now. Even if the topic is sensitive, it's just something you should watch because of the experience. My friend told me I definitely have to see it. Plus, its release by Newline was controversial, so you always should see why people made such a big fuss about it :3

It's a great movie, even though I am not an American. It shows you what 'someone' has been hiding behind the 'bush.' ¬_¬ And besides... Michael Moore doesn't give a damn if you obtain a copy legally or illegally:
