As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

For the group thing, I thinked I will wait for the v6 but if a lot of people ask for it, I guess I have no choice but to do it^^ To commemorate the SSS rating, the svg of my bakuman wall is on my last journal entry.Got to go doing teaching. See you later~

Ye mouton knows all ;) I am still a newbie with vectoring programs. In my journal is the progess so far for my Inkscape and AI project. The main difference I noticed so far is that in AI the pentool is editable at all times, in IS it is a different tool

Serious knowledge

Ctrl is useful when you want to control the angle of the vector. Shift is for asymmetric vector. You can combine the two also. One more thing, if you start an other path while pressing shift and that a former path is selected, the two will combined.

I only use ctrl for zooming, backspace I knew because it is the same in PS and AI. The shift and enter I didn't know, those are useful. I ended a path using right mouse on my last node

Currently scanlated by ATT-AW and Yanime (my personal choice).Manga starts off totally different from the anime. Mai and Kuga were already at each others' throats with their powers right from the first few pages unlike the anime where Mai had to come to terms with her powers.Looks interesting, but I've only read the first chapter. Yanime has already released the 1st volume (all 8 chapters in total).<a href='http://www.point-blank.cc:6969/torrents/Mai-Hime%20v1%20%5bYanime%5d.torrent?info_hash=cf21e2fe1659138a542d6ceb94b5661c96a50bd8' target='_blank'>http://www.point-blank.cc:6969/torrents/Ma...4b5661c96a50bd8</a>

I might look into the manga, since the anime was really pretty. Wow, Mai already has her powers eh? Seems like the manga could be more action-packed then the anime. <!--emo&:D--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

It's really good and it's even better with ATT-AW's edition, well in my opinion anyway.the good things about ATT-AW's scanlation is it's quality. the other one i found is done by yebyosh, it's quality is good too but not as good as ATT-AW but it's released much faster than the other group

Aside from the cool Kuga vs Tokiha fight scene at the beginning, the manga is awful in my opinion. <!--emo&-_---><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sleep.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sleep.gif' /><!--endemo-->; It's way more fanservicey (I didn't even think that was possible) than the anime. Also, as a giant fan of Kuga Natsuki, watching her run around after Tate made me want to cry. ;_;

Mmm... I've heard nothing but bad reviews about the manga version of My-HiME... Which is strange as usually the manga is better than the anime. Well, I guess there are exceptions.

The manga and anime are totally different in my opinion. The manga is definitely more "bad-ass", a lot more violent, and more daring to say the least. There was a huge disccussion about why Sunrise didn't follow the manga plot and setup at HongFire's forum. I'll say that I definitely like manga version better because of the more graphic nature of the content (sexual and violent). The anime is obviously less graphic thanmuch more light-hearted because, well, it's to be shown on TV.I love the anime, nonetheless. There is always an anime per season that I love. It's the one where the plot revolves around girls fighting with special powers or whatnot.(Perfect example of my fandom for these type of things is Kiddy Grade. <!--emo&^_^--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='happy.gif' /><!--endemo-->)Cheers,Venio
