Background Idea for Bleach paper?

I like the general scheme of the paper (tho I'm not wed to it), but I need an idea for the background, as it's rather dull right now. ANy ideas? I'd be willing to give you partial credit for it!

The way the girl is clinging on him, i think that there should be walking thought a dark woods at night (that would make me cling to a guy)the guy looks like hes looking behind them,from where they came(thuw the woods)

The Squid obviously hasn't seen this series or else she'd know that was Yoruichi and Sui Fong...two women. The picture is from the latest ending to the anime series.
First thing you should do is increase the opacity and fill opacity of the sccan, so that they are not so faded, then
don't make the text so shaky^^
it's hard to suggest because the scan is so hard to see, but i think ......

Scan + Gradient Background + Text = Submission Rejection. I'm not going to tell you what to do for a background, as I think that should be discovered in your own mind, but place in elements that would make the viewer think he is looking at a Bleach wall. Good luck, once you have an idea and a version two I'll further comment on what you've done. x)
Oh, "Almighty Baka" I love useless comments like that! *sense my sarcasm* I know it isn't ready now, i was asking if anyone had any ideas to get me out of my slump...and since your ideas are so vague...why did you even bother posting?? I find that a pretty harsh since the comment he said is actually quite good. Its your wallpaper so you should think about what to express on your paper, its your piece of art. When done that you might ask us to point out some flaws to make it look better, thats what session zero is for in my opinion.
Almighty-Baka meant that you should make clear to the viewers against what kind of anime wallpaper there looking at. When I'm looking to your paper, I cant really figure out from what anime it is. Goodluck!

Sorry about the snideness, but i kind of hate session zero...every time i try to get help here, i just get random comments or suggestions without any reasons behind them (part of why i've never actually finished a paper!). Now, what you guys said was helpful...that it isn't clear it's a Bleach paper.

Ah dont see session zero that way, if you dont understand what we are saying just simply ask. Session zero can be used for brainstorming / inspiration as well, but as how I see it, its that a wallpaper is an expression of the creator trying to show / express something, something like that can only be made within the creators mind. When made, it may look nice, but theres almost always time for improvement, and were simply here to point out these and tell if the scenery fits the character, if the color matches etc.

I stated my reasons for being vague. It doesn't satisfy me just giving someone a step-by-step plan for them to build upon. You need to have an idea before going into the the creation process - if you don't, sit back for a while and try and find inspiration. You came HERE for inspiration, which I tried to give by stating you should place the characters in a Bleach-related environment. Perhaps their training grounds? I try and stray away from generic backgrounds, but for someone hopelessly lost it would be a good start. How about using some ancient Japanese paintings as a background? Perhaps you could find one incorporating mountains, a tiger, and wasp of some sort (heh, good luck.) The text is too large and the BG colors are extremely dull - in your next version, improve upon those aspects, at least.

Basically, we're all trying to help your wall be accepted, because...i find that rather difficult ..and a lot of work...but anyways, no matter if it's just there for you or told nicely, you want to take other's ideas and think them through to see if you can come up with anything,
if you can't, then probably browsing though the gallery is another option
