LoL...when i just read the titles..i thought you made a double post by mistake..because the titles were the same...
i like the first one better..because you can see them more clearly...too many lines in the second one
...if you're thinking it's kind of empty maybe do something to the sky?star, moon...etc
on the bottom right..you might want to extend the track..because it looks like you just tilted the picture...there's a triangle on the bottom right of empty space.....personal opinion i just don't like the liney look to the lights^^''
and i noticed some lines on belldandy's hair...that's going in a different direction...were you using the lines to hide the scan lines ^^''..iuno...but smooth out her hair?

The lights are a bit too bright and I am not liking the effects that are drawn against it. Maybe you could try clearing up the image a bit.
