I'm being ignored! Born from the fountain of love
A project of vectoring i began a rather long time ago ^^ ... this is for improve my vactor skills ...
Everyone who read the angel sanctuary manga must know this pic ... it's the last page of the manga :D
I vectorize it because i wanted to wall it for a long time ...
I don't vectorize the wings because they were wrong ( seems to float in the air ) so i vctorized only the 2 characters
I want to know how to improve the vector and also make a better background because it's kinda bleh ...
Well i forgot her tear and Setsuna's earings but i plan to add them soon :D

It's ok, but if you put some shadows in the clothes of th characters, it's looks better ^^
Whoah, that's some vector. I agree with blodwid, it would benefit from some shading. Her lips could do with some red color, too... looks a little creepy to me the way it is now.
I'm not too keen about the blocks of text; it's not like you have to follow exactly what there was in the original image. You could insert the text in some other manner, perhaps in the space at upper left, with a nicer font.

I change it ... it's better but i'm not satisfied yet :D i must blend it more in the wall :p
As for the background ... ierase the clouds ... because i thought that it must be rethink... so i made a temporary gradient ...

Hum ... in fact i plan to make a cloudy sky ... a bit like the one i made on my Prayer-bright wall ... but as some members notice the wall didn't have enough depth so i ask how to make depth with clouds ^^ if anyone have a tutorial ^^

More shading on the girl's hair is definitely required. It looks too flat and spoils the rest of the great wallpaper. 1600x1200 as well! Fantastic stuff. Well done! Just get more shading done and it'll be really nice!

i don't know of any specific tutorials but good-tutorials.com is pretty good, just type in "clouds" and it gives you quite a few tuts to choose from.

That's a lot better with the shading done and all. For the background, besides the original clouds, you could also have a bit of grassy ground near the bottom? I noticed you reduced the number of feathers - it's less cluttered now, but it's lost some depth. In the earlier version there were fathers near and far. Now all the feathers appear to be in front of the vector. Try putting in some smaller ones to look like they're further away. Also a few that are going behind the vector, i.e. partially covered by the vector.

Wow, thats quite a vector, amazingly good job!
This scan is quite romantic so maybe its an idea to make up an romantic setting like an sunset or something, nothing to bright just to create a good warm atmosphere. The feathers may use a little imrpovement but the one thing I just dont like are the capitol letters of the text. For the rest, all thumbs up! :D

Great couple... i guess the left side could be filled with "something"... it's very blue with nothing in the BG, but the image, feathers, font and phrase if find it realy cool! Waiting fr the final version.. ^^
I listened nearly all the suggestions ^^ here is the new version ... i hope it's not too dark for a cathodic screen ...

Dear me @_@! This vector is turning out B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L XD! Only complaint is the BG >.<. It just doesn't work for me. However I like the color scheme of it. Really shows the mood of love and fuzzyness ^_^. I'd recommend going crazy and take your time with making the sky. Actually make one from scratch. Since this is a vector using a stock can be tricky. The "Lens Flare" just isn't working either. It doesn't feel realistic enough since the rest of it doesn't look good. This is coming along wonderfully. Work with the color scheme with the cloud background. I'd recommend getting some inspiration by looking at other wallpapers and pictures to get a really good feeling of how to go about making it ^_^. Coming along great. Keep up the awesome work ;).

Were you trying to create a sunset background, after Yulaw's suggestion? The warm colors are nice, but the lense flare effect is really out of place, it's just hanging there without a strong light source that would explain its prescence. Unless that's supposed to be your sun? Doesn't look anything like one, though.

The change in hair color from dark brown to red threw me off - just what color is it supposed to be? I don't know the series but I'm pretty sure it's not something you can just change by yourself. =Þ

But that's more applicable for scenic pictures, like sea and sky stretching into the horizon kind of thing. Not sure if it'll work for what you intend.
