This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

So many animes, so many different clothing styles. First mention what type of clothing style you prefer (realisitic, edo-era, sci-fi, bizzare, etc). Then explain why and what anime series' display your favorite clothing styles. Oh if you know any bizzare clothing styles let me know because i'm really interested in that kind of stuff, like gothic-lolita or ganguro.

For me, even though i love the skimpy one/two piece outfits of godannar or skimpy school girl clothing of ikki tousen, but i prefer modern day style of clothing. Stuff that i could actually wear and not be ashamed to wear or be called an otaku or something. Bleach has a very modern style and Tite Kubo seems to draw up a new outfit for every character in each chapter of the manga specifically Chad and Inoue's clothing. Speed grapher and Death note also has a really good clothing set IMO but im not gonna waste any more of your time! Start typing!

EDIT: just started watching Air Gear after work last night, i gotta say KICK A**!! I just really like their outfits so much i went and scooped up the first 4 mangas this morning! And like bleach, Ito Oogure (aka Oh!Great) really likes to make a crapload of different outfits for each character.

First and foremost would be Bleach - like you said, Tite Kubo really does like to come up with new outfits, not only for Chad or Inoue, but generally for just about all the characters in the real world [my personal favorites are Ichigo and Rukia's outfits]. And let us not forget the extensive color illustrations from some manga chapters, which show the main cast in all sorts of exotic outfits.

Also, I love Misa's outfits in Death Note, and Raito's outfits are pretty much OK, too... but apart from that, there's not really any fashion highlights in the series.

I also like the outfits in Trinity Blood because of their rich details and exquisite colors... although they aren't quite what you'd describe as 'fashionable' ^_^'

I like modern style I guess or something funky. I like some of the outfits in Eureka SeveN. Mainly what the kids wear. I also like the stuff in Erementar Gerad.

I really don't like school girl outfits. I mean some can be cute, but it's so cliche and boring.

I think the anime with the most fascinating fashion is Card Captor Sakura since its like every episode she has different clothes made by Tomoyo-chan.

Lots of series have great fashion senses, but, with my general preference toward ancient Japan and Victorian Europe, my favourite series for fashion are Rozen Maiden and Utawarerumono. The series that does the best at showcasing a ton of different styles of outfits, though, is definitely Tsubasa. The characters get different clothes every world they go to, and then Sakura shows hers of spectacularly. Let me see... what other series are great for fashion? Oh, there is MADLAX. It is indeed all modern clothing, but Madlax's gowns are beautiful (especially on her).

Bah, forget my previously stated preferences. As long as the clothes look good on the characters, I like them.

I think the coolest clothes ever are worn by the characters of Ai Yazawa...Especially, in the anime "Paradise Kiss" when even the story revolves around fashion, the clothes are just magnificent...and so on...

When it comes to fashion, i'd have to say i'm a fan of Gothic-lolita. I think Rozen Maiden dolls is a good example and also Misa from Death Note also frequently wears that style.

I'm also a fan of the kimono/yukata. They always appear so elegant when the lead female uses one. Enma Ai from Jigoku Shoujo is probably a good example when she wears her nagajuban.

I'd say i'm a fan of the gi + hakama combo seen in many edo era anime. But simply from the fact that those don't actually seem to look all that cool to me in real life turns me away from that anime fashion.

Oh and I also really like Chinese wushu outfits and cheongsams. When these kinds of clothes are elaborately decorated, they are great works of art.

Style would have to go down to Cowboy Bebop.
the modern fasion sense and cool clothing i would say Bleach, which is present in most of their art and wallpapers.

as for the overall winner it would defineately be Gankutsuou because of the elegance and effort undertaken to create the almost life-like designs. they actually have a proper clothing designer to create the outfits.

Its not about the fashion, its about the appearance and how they bring it. I mean like, any kind of clothes look good, as long as a...LOLI GIRL WEARS IT!!

I mean, like, Cardcaptor Sakura...ehehe a really cute skirt @_@. Or Flonne from Disgaea (oh god well cute!). Theres also Shana...man even if she just wears a uniform she's VERY HOT!

Well, to put it in a nutshell, as long as the girl is loli and cute/hot, i like her. Even better if the outfit is lacy >:D emoticon...with all those ribbons (big and cute) and really skimpy skirts >:D emoticon

I think in general Trinity Blood characters are well dressed.
But my favourite has to be One Piece. All the characters are well dressed :p and they change clothes often. I think Nami changes like every episode or something. And they look cool when they come to new climates. Like when they came to Drum Island and Arabasta. Uh yea.. I like Misa from Death Note too, but the characters are not generally well dressed:p I dont give a damn about fashion and stuff, but if the clothes fit the series.

I like L's style in Death Note. He's rocking those jeans and white t-shirts, who needs socks and shoes? Talk about versatile and effective fashion sense. On a more serious note I think I like the style of the characters in Ouran High School Host Club minus the freaky cosplay (especially the cross dressing incidents). If I was a guy I'd probably dress the way they do. Well I'm not into fashion and all that so yeah......
