This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

What is your job and where do you work ?
Do you like your job ? Why / Why not ?
How much do you get paid ?

I'm currently unemployed but I used to work at a japanese Allyou can eat / Korean BBQ restraunt owned by chinese people . I like working there because time flies so quickly, the co-workers there were nice but it would have been better if they hired more waiters so I wouldn't have to work so hard =D . Another thing I like about it is every weekend , at the end of the shift , it's all you can eat korean BBQ . So goooddddddddd. YUMMMMMY XD

EDITTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Sorry I want to add one more thing to this thread. Is it possible to make more than minimum wage without going to post secondary education and obtaining degrees / diplomas ??

I'd like to work. It'll help me on so many levels: get over my social phobia (yes, there is such a thing as a social phobia, it basically means you can't interact with people easily), get me to spend some time instead of sitting and doing nothing, and just gives me an experience and lets me know what it is to work. But, unfortunately, I have a stupid father who wouldn't let me work because if I did work, people will think that our family are in need of money badly, and instead of finding a job himself (because my father is unemployed), he sent his daughter to work instead.

Stupid beliefs everyone have in this country. I really don't care about what people think or say, but I guess father does. I'm not gonna even comment on it, because I'll go into a fit about it. *sighs*

I quit because it was too tiring for me . I walked so much my feet hurt like hell. It was also quite far for me to get there , an hour bus ride not including waiting for the bus. The pay was $8 canadian / hour , which is minimum wage but the tips were pretty good.

*sigh* I got the same problem as you , can't interact with people easily. The only way to get over this problem is to talk to people more right ? It's hard for me to make new friends when I don't talk much .

I hear you there. :(

I used to work at a dollar store. Gawd that sucked. I got paid only $6.50 US. The customers where mostly either creepy freaks (saw my first assless chaps working there) or irritating old ladies who somehow thought they would save money by buying stuff that would break in three hours (we only sold the very best). We had a phone book sized booklet for checking on previously bounced checks. he he he

Now I work at a place called Digital Express. It's like Kinkos, but a lot smaller. We only have one tiny location. Most business comes from the Internet.^_^
I've got to say that this is my best job so far. I get paid $10.00 an hour right now, but after I get paid a certain amount it will drop to $8.50 an hour.

A new Cabelas just popped up down the street from my house and I'm trying to get a job there. I already applied once, but they just ignored me. Grrrrr. Anyway, I know I can do the job because I know just about everything there is to know about camping. They just don't want to pay any attention to me.XP

Yes, neither of my parents have degrees, but they get paid pretty well. Not great, but pretty well. I also know a guy who does pretty well by driving a truck for Fed Ex

My dad builds spotlights for Ballantyne of Omaha. The ones they use to make towers of light at " ground zero" on the annaversary of 9/11. They also use them to light up the space shuttle at night. Those are probably the most-seen ones. They also make a lot of lights for Disney.

My mom does something in the mortgage buisness. Loan Processer or something like that. The bank she works at just changed names a little while ago, so I don't remember what it's called.

I was a till girl at a supermarket for a few years, mainly to help with my student fees.

It was okay, but usually the bordem and back pain was awful, plus because I was a student they could give me crappy hours and I couldn't protest.

My pay went down over the Xmas holiday and they failed to inform me of this. I quit after that.
