Is it true?? Will there be Gundam Seed Eternity? I need an ANSWER!!!

There is NO confirmation that fukuda would actually take on the 3rd series of gundam seed. its just proposal thats bought upon him but he was hesistating in the interview because of pressure from the destiny series. but so far rumors is that its called gundam seed eternity, three chraacters from the gundam seed destiny cast will be kept in for the 3rd series. and thats about it o_O but even if they do create another series. i think its gona be another 2 years before it actually airs o_o

I guess i was expecting a 3rd season and possibly a 4th. For those that didn't notice, gundam seed is more or less a remake of the original Gundam. Destiny is like Z. Think of shinn as kamiyu, kira as amuro, athrun, mwu or raww as char. So Eternity is the ZZ version of the original and there's supposed to be a V version for the 4th. Dunno if theyll have spinoffs like 0080, 0083 or char's counter.

Well i am dying for a thrid series...but the information given kinda sounds weird. Zala representive? WEIRD!!

Wow, another one? i was a huge fan of seed til they*ruined* it with destiny. maybe they can fight back their dignity with eternity. but what im looking forward to is the 40 min ova.

O... cool. Can't wait for it to be released.. but I'm kinda confused. Isn't Mwu's dead? Haha.. Maybe because I haven't finish seeing the GSD. Until ep 30 so far... Need to ganbatte more. Ike, ike! XD

The Next Gundam series?
Posted at Useless Plamoya-san's Diary, the next Gundam series following DESTINY is planned for Oct 2006. However, the next series will not be SEED series. The blog states the staff will be made up so it will completely go away from SEED. The same post mentions Zeta and SEED will be the bulk of future model kit releases until this new series airs.

While information posted at Useless Plamoya-san's Diary have been reliable in the past, take this news with some grain of salt.

AFAIK Fukuda-san was asked how he felt after completing the last episode of Destiny, and he replied that he was much more tired than when he did SEED. He was under a lot more stress than he had imagined at first. Looking back at Destiny, he had imposed on himself two challenges (as 1) he "tripled" the main characters and 2) it was the sequel of a popular series) from the beginning, but lately realized once again how difficult it was.

There's another rumour (which I'm more inclined to believe - or at least I will be when they finally wrap up the Destiny series somehow...) that the next Gundam series will start screening in 2006/2007 and will have nothing to do with the CE/SEED universe...(can't remember which it was).


in short, fukuda was not happy with how destiny went, and the 2006's gundam series will not be related to seed, nor will it even be in the same timeline.

Hehe, I was one of those people who watched Gundam Seed Destiny before Gundam Seed - and I was able to totally understand it. It wasn't too bad.

Though I felt so bad for Shinn losing to Kira.

Anyway, yeah, another continuation would be...well..cool. Though i'm up for another different G-series.

Shinn beat Kira, he lost to Athrun. Im all for a new CE series I loved em both and I'll defend Fukuda tooth and nail, but right now I want something new. Maybe something more X like. Id love for them to animate some more of the UC side stories too, Animated Crossbone would be awesome.

The ending suck thats why, thanxs to fukada and his wife, they put so many recaps, so they should make a 3rd season to make up for it, and the ova too, since the ova won't come with the 13 dvd set.

I honestly didnt see anything wrong with the ending. Sure Shinn didnt beat the bad guy, but he got plenty of screen time and closure. It coverd all it's major plots too. really it ended no differntly than pretty much every Gundam sereis before it.
