I honestly didnt see anything wrong with the ending. Sure Shinn didnt beat the bad guy, but he got plenty of screen time and closure. It coverd all it's major plots too. really it ended no differntly than pretty much every Gundam sereis before it.

the only thing i liked about it was when stellar appeared right before his eyes, she actually talked normal, in the dubbed version of GSD, she sounds too grownup for a soldier when dancing and singing and sometimes battling

Yes, the information is authentic. i mean, i even gave you the site where "gundam seed eternity" fanfiction originated from.

i mean, think about it like this:
1. no one will ever be able to beat kira and athrun in the future
2. orb has now established itself as one of the strongest power in the world
3. lacus will stand in the political centerstage after what she said when she met meer
4. kira will also probably step up in the centerstage, as noted from his convo with chairman.
5. the synopsis for eternity says that athrun will be the representative of new coalition. now how believable is that, that he didn't get persecuted for betraying/deserting ZAFT twice and yet still have the support to gain such a prominent position? you also have to take in account that ORB was seen as a partial bad guy for going against dillandual
6. for the voice actors of following:
Asutea Rainhato; Souichiro Hoshi
Geren Mageniasu; Kenichi Suzumura

these are seiyuu for Kira and Shinn respectively. Given the presence of so much of the old cast in their normal roles, I can't understand why these two would turn up in some more minor role.

Oh, and I don't know whether this would change anyone's minds either...but Yzak's name has been romanised wrongly (as have Murrue and Milly's)...not a particularly reliable source I'd say.

And if anyone really decides to name a Gundam 'splasher', 'garnet' or 'celsius', I'll have to kill someone...



why does everyone want gundam seed sequel so much? gundam seed destiny began as a carbon copy of season 1, and then its script went to hell as biggest contrieved crap ever with artificial love that makes little sense as saying "ME TARZAN YOU JANE," with the main cast (new cast) not even contributing to anything at the end, as they become cannon fodders for the old cast. pathetic.

Well thats because Destiny was bad, too many dramatic recaps, so annoying, and yea no one cannot beat kira or athrun.

Well.. the Gundam SEED Eternity is the OVA for Destiny...they were originally gonna put it in the last DVD, but if you check the item description for the DVD:

they did not mention anything about the special episode.. so either.. they decided to save it for the OVA (in theatre).. or they just decided to pull it out... and leave Destiny without a proper ending...

and as for the 3rd serie for SEED, Fukuda has not yet decided to make it or not... but he once in the interview mentioned that he has no interest in producing the 3rd season...

Personally... i want another serie of SEED, coz... the ending for destiny, sigh... it's kinda disappointing... but then to think that a 3rd serie is coming out... i think they're just doing it for the sake of making money... instead of for the love and passion of gundam... but I'm sure looking forward to the OVA, Gundam SEED Eternity.

Yeah, the so-called "Eternity" thing is completely bogus...You can tell by looking at it, really.
HOWEVER, I would like to see a third CE series...

I frankly was very, very disappointed by the ending of Destiny...actually, it started disappointing me from 35 on...And it'd started off so well!
till, you never know...Third Time's the Charm, as they say.

Granted the series wasnt ll it could be, I still found it to be all and all enjoyable, in the end thats all that matters. Shinn got a noce sense of closure I thouht. really it ended alot like Z except no one died and Shinn aint a retard.

As for the next series, I wouldnt be surprised if Fukuda didnt want any more to do with Gundam, he's gotten alot of flak ever since the first Seed.

Wow sounds awesome. I am glad they are doing it again. I hope fukada does not listen to fans this time and follows his own story instead of changing it constantly everytime he gets a complaint. Thats why last series was so random.
