Shinn returning someone he knew was going to die otherwise. Lacus was in no imidiate danger, in fact her beeing there was the only thing keeping them safe.

When I said their meeting was similar, I meant the whole cave incident thing.
Again, the whole returning thing was similar, but Lacus was in danger, because if she had stayed on the ship, Fllay would of went psycho and done something.
If they had kept the super weapon to be just Requiem, then it would have been okay, but adding Neo Genesis to the mix was not needed.
I want it to happen in different episodes, rather then happening around the same time.

Having two super weapons like that, and have it destroyed in minutes was not needed. I guess Fukuda wanted to reused more scenes so he was forced to come up with Neo Genesis, which was a shame, because Requiem was quite a unique weapon. Neo Genesis failed to do anything major, all it did was destroy that major EA base which didn't even pose much of a threat, and its own fleet, along with some Orb ships, but Requiem actually took out 3 PLANTs.
Neo Geneis did quote a bit of damage to the Terminal Fleet

Im positive that if destiny was made before seed the series would have been better.
If kira just suddenly appeared and no one really knew him they would be like wow.
Shinns character would have been stronger and fukuda would not have influnces from the public. Thats right the public. Screw all this wife crap. Fair enough I know she contributes to it but I blame the public for the series being considered bad.
But definatly if seed destiny came first then we went back and saw past battle with kira would have been interesting (GS Destiny then SEED)
Fukuda cant follow his own story because people constnatly saying they gonna kill him etc and that he better make it good.
First 10 eps good ? then goes off?
Wonder why that was. Because people complained and complained... and still are. Before blamming the director look at the people who made him change his story. The main one PUBLIC !. The second him because of listening to public. Third his wife.
I dont believe gundam seed had many influences and his wife prob helped on that story too... why was that series not bad? prob because public did not pressure him as much.
Anyway back to topic. New one sounds great. I dont think they should bring kira into the story that much, and if they do only as a mentor. Kira was my favourite character and still is, but I do not want him to be a part of this series to be honost.

Oohh..i cant wait!!
Ok I am all for gundam series but ANOTHER continuation. They are killing what good there was. A 150 episode trilogy series? People have a hard enough time understanding destiny without seeing the original.
What happend to new unique G-series. Are the Creators just loosing out on imagination? Or perhaps they are trying to get enough followers for a movie? If so I think they have enough fans.
But whatever sells I guess. And of course like the gundam fan I am, I will watch Eternity when it is avalible. Even though it will take a year to finish @ one a week for 50 episodes total.
Well Gundam SEED wasn't all that great in the first place and it seemed that they wre just loosing imagination when Destiny came out. My prediction for the new series will be another annoying main character who will most likely take the back seat to Kira and Athrun once again.

BUt my friends told me 3rd Gundam Seed just rumors....i not sure about this beside i disappointed about Gundam seed destiny...ii=t was the worse ending i had seen...
