After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Ye, but DTB definitely is great. Love Bakemonogatari too and Kampfer. I am kinda dissapointed with Railgun though

`akiranyo 23 minutes ago
Hard to say: Bakemonogatari, Kampfer, Sacred Blacksmith or Railgun are also good.

Information below may be incorrect because dattebayo may be pulling a stunt. (As stated by LordStyphon below)It's too late since I've already posted this and I am sorry if this is wrong information. I merely wanted to inform people and I just hope that this is not a hoax and that dattebayo's not pulling a stunt.

It seems that Funimation is now in the business of fansubbing and has bought out Dattebayo Fansubs,

Proof: User posted image (Not fabricated, from dattebayo's website http://yhbt.mine.nu/news.aspx?id=db-funi )

That sure surprised me, however I'm not complaining because they might improve some things. I still wonder what the future holds for this though. As long as they do a good job and fansubs still come out then I'm ok with this. On the other hand, some people are taking this a little too seriously and you can find tons of criticism on Dattebayo. My point is So, what do you think about Funimation entering the fansubing business?

(I don't really care, but I'm interested on what you guys think and what the future of Funimation Fansubs will turn out)

Was it really necessary to state that then? All I'm asking is peoples' opinions anyway.

If you mean you don't know anything about bittorrent, then I don't blame you. You'd only know about this unless you used bittorrent and watched Naruto and Bleach torrents.

When in the other "Funimations Fansubs" thread here, I saw such things as "GNAA", "YHBT", and such sarcastic praise of the fansub group in question that I knew that it was fake.

So you guys want proof, well here it is: http://yhbt.mine.nu/

If you still think this information is wrong then read the company news on the site I put above.

That would be one thing, but there are a few problems with it.

First, any news that comes from a site with "yhbt" in its URL is likely to be taken with a grain of salt. (YHBT = you have been trolled)

Second, the site design is reportedly done by "GNAA". GNAA is the abbreviation of Gay N*gger Association of America, a trolling organization that takes its name from a cheesy Danish gay porn movie. Among other things, they have been responsible for putting the final nail in 4chan's coffin the last time it died when they launched a massive crapflood. It even links to their site at the bottom of the page.

Third, did you look at the dates on the company news you referred us to? (Hint: the date on all the news releases is April 1, 2006.)

And fansub groups aren't limited liability companies, with assets that can be bought out, and the news reports themselves read like something The Onion would write, but that's not important.

Aye, as LordStyphon so thorougly pointed out, this is a complete hoax.

It would be nice if a moderator could lock this thread before any unsuspecting readers get fooled into thinking this is real.

Another pointer that this is fake is that the only "proof" offered is an obviously fabricated magazine cover hosted on imageshack. If this were really true, we'd at least be seeing some links to press releases from funimation.

I really am sorry if I am wrong. It's interesting how many points you've made and I think I've made a grave mistake. I just never thought that they would pull a stunt like this. I just hope that this really isn't stunt, otherwise I'd probably freak out about this thread. On the bright side, now I know more about dattebayo and what type of a group they are. Well, thanks on the info. Like they say, it's better to know the truth than a pack of lies.
