Well...basicaly I would watch it till the end even if it's lame.
Sometimes changes are good, arern't they?

I would still watch such anime since it would be a shame to not finish what I started.
A little bit of OCD thrown every now and then. ;D

Well, don't really mind about it...have to watch till the end, cause something interesting might come up. As long as it's not too much of a change XD...

Heh, you talking about Death Note here? Because the two halves of Death Note might as well be written by two different people - a good one and a sucky one. But I digress. The only show that I think changed director on me is Saint Seiya, and the second half was... crappier in quality because everyone had blue eyes. I think they were lazy or something so they didn't color in everyone's eyes. I don't know, if the director changed on a good show I probably won't be watching the second half.
Rurouni Kenshin has like a gazillion different art styles and it didn't affect the anime series awesomeness. XD Hummmm... As for director, if it happend with any of the anime I watched I didn't notice, I'm bad at that . __.
I do hate when the first episodes have an awesome animation and then halfway through you can slowly see the art quality decline. Like in the recent Vampire Knight anime.
I nearly went blind by the end of the season.
>:P

That happened to Minai-ke once. It isn't the same season but the characters totally changed (in appearance and attitude)! I didn't really like it first (cuz Haruka has red eyes and their hair color is different), then I got used to it, so It doesn't really matter as long as the story doesn't go off the line~![( []-[])9 emoticon ( []-[])9 emoticon](http://static2.animepaper.net/images/emo/specky.gif)

Hmm... If the new story is better than the original, then allright :) But not, I think i won't bother myself watching an anime that i don't like.

Yeah, it really depends on what they change and how that will change what has already been done.

I don't really care.. the only thing that would make me care are the voices.

Actually I don't mind sudden change of directors as I don't usually notice change of directors. However, as long as the outcome is good or better, I won't mind. If the anime is going to be the same as the manga all the way, that's even better. However, I do mind change in voice actors and voice actresses because most of the voice actors and actresses are suitable for some of the characters which they can show the personality of the characters clearly. Therefore, as long as the stories was good until the end, even there are changes, I won't mind.^^

I've never actually noticed when or even if a script writer, the art designer or even the director has changed. But it wouldn't be too bad because you get new creativity as well as energy in the show, the only down side would be if said change affects the show dramatically like a crappy ending or (as if that ever happens) all the main characters are killed off.
So, all in all. It wouldn't be that bad a thing to get new people because after all, they still need to adhere to the business of entertaining us, the audience.

A lot of it depends on how much the anime strays from the source material (the manga, usually). When they're very different, it tends to put off fans of the manga and most anime watchers aren't the wiser. I'm very concerned for Blade of the Immortal right now because the studio isn't willing to be as violent as the manga really is. They're going to run into a lot of problems later.
Well, my favorite anime out there is TTGL, which is already completed. If someone where to change the origonal TTGL story, I'd be kind of upset. It was already brilliantly done, so why do anything new to it. I mean, for episode 4 they had the guest director, and everyone remembers the 2channel incident for that, right? Wasn't good, if you don't know of it.
However, if they had other directors or writers add on to TTGL, I'd be okay with that. The story has a lot of things that it can expand on (most of GAiNAX's series seem to be that way, because they give you so much). I mean the Parallel Videos are all pretty good, so seeing what someone else could make would be interesting...
I guess it all depends on the context of the change, when I think about it.

Oh my... often i don't care about this, but hey, you are going to create your own story someday, won't you? Yeah, nice idea.
I'm fine with it as long as the quality of the anime is maintained and it continues to hold my interest. Changing on voice actors...I might get snippy about this but if the new voice actors are just as good then I just deal with it.
