Hmm, well it does seem interesting. The art looks quite nice and the characters do look interesting. I would have to say that I'm going to with hold judgement until it comes out.
My first impression: Put the most of the character designs from Ghost in the Shell:SAC (the main female lead resembles of the Major) in Japanese/Korean Feudal setting and a bit RPG also Production I.G. stunning blend of cell and CG; you get this good action/supernatural/adventure.
It's about a travelling pacifist female bodyguard who's in the right time and in the right place, saving a 2nd the line prince from an accident. As a reward of her bravery, the bodyguard is allow to stay in the royal as a token of saving the prince life. However, she learns that prince's accident wasn't happen coincidentally. It was an assassination attempt by the Royal Court as they fear the prince is threat to the kingdom as he would bring drought and famine according to legend created by the forefathers of the kingdom. The bodyguard is persuade by the prince's mother to take the task of take the prince into her custody and protect him from his pursuer. She reluctantly accept the task and thus their adventure begins.
It's not your typical shounen anime as the prince is forced to change his life as prince into a commoner and in the process making stronger and mature. Not too heavy with the plot, sufficient back story to explain why the female lead is a pacifist and unravel the truth behind the Legend. The ending able to satisfied most of the viewers. Although in some point the story a bit stagnant as their trails becomes cold and trying to adjust back to normal life.
Most probably underrated anime and you should watch it.

Wha? It's gonna be on adult swim?? Beh I don't watch TV much anymore so this is news... Care to share a source?
Anyway, this anime is really good and satisfying. I watched it all subbed not too long ago. The action is fluidly animated and gets suspenseful, especially near the end of the series. During the middle though, it gets kinda slow since they mostly talk about the past or experience daily life stuff. The art, especially the backdrops, is wonderful. The characters are great too, and after watching this you'll no doubt know who "Balsa the spearwoman" is. I recommend trying this series out!

In itself, Moribito is a beautiful anime that tells a very good story. However, I wonder how much of a draw it will get on AS because it moves at a very slow pace. I hope those that started to watch it stick with through the end. It is worth it.

This is one of the most beautifull anime I have ever seen. With that I mean the graphics :).
About the story: I thought the story was pretty nice overall but I would like to have seen some more action in it. Mostly because the action is very very cool.
In any case i would say this: Watch it!
