I don't read too many mangas. but I can tell you I get this all the time for Animes... I get hooked into many animes and at the end I just tell myself maybe there will be a second season or w.e... but in the end they dont make it...

Yah that happened to me so many times. I started reading the manga and at first i thought okay yah its just another ordinary story line and such and such. But then it gets addicting and. So yup i'm addicted waiting for more, constantly thinking about it xD

Exact same thing happened for me when I was reading Punch! by...I forget her name. Her characters always look kinda the same though...but ya it was really short, like only 5 volumes and it seemed like the mangaka just didn't wanna bother anymore so she finished it all of a sudden. Usually shoujo manga like that are drawn out with a lot of angst etc. but it was nice to not have over-the-top baggage and drama in a shoujo manga for once.

I love Skip Beat! It's not like any other shoujo manga I've ever read. The protagonist is very hilarious and I'm so curious on who'll she'll fall in love with.

It did happen to me and I think that's the reason I found this site.
I watched Gakuen Alice anime before. I liked it but it didn't have much story
I was waiting for the next chapter of Detective Conan so I tried to read other manga. That's when I read Gakuen Alice manga. I instantly fell in love with the story since I didn't expect that it has a really nice story. The anime didn't have that though. So now I'm into Gakuen Alice, waiting for new chapters. It's really nice ^^
