Well placed service is great
But: Spotting 100 times the same panty over and over is not entertaining. In the worst case you are overfeeded, bored and just annoyed x_x The less service a character provides, the more interesting the character.
That teacher in mahoromatic for example is so fuckxxx annoying, bragging about her huge ugly breasts and calling other flatchested ones. She has boobies, but does that mean we like her? <b>No</b>. As you can see ecchi is not always good :x

Ecchi scenes looks good to me when shown with humor.. but unnessecary show offs just for plain fan service is kinda annoying.. an example would be love hina.. i'm talking about the manga here.

Eechi is always good to mix things up but when it gets too excessive is when its a problem.I dont mind the eechi and nudity in Konomini. But it erks me in other shows ¬_¬

I think echhi's fine. Breasts and nudity are apart of life. Just because theres some nudity doesnt mean that the storys shithouse. It just means there touching down with a more reality of the story. There only problem I have is that there is no full nudity in OTeacher. Why can't we see Mizuho fully naked or her hot mum. Its all blocked out by hair the nipples. Its crap. I wanna see some action.
Worse... I hate that trend. Only guys love ecchi in anime. I'm a woman, it's not fun to see other woman naked or something. :faint:

If there is not so much ecchi, this is acceptible for me.
I think there exists some case that ecchi is indispensible for animation story.
But, I don't like the animation whose story is not so good and appeal too much sexually.
In that point of view, I don't like the animation such as green green.

I agree with Eeva Leena I’m a girl too and I don't really enjoy seeing other half naked girls (although some half naked guys would be nice)<!--emo&:D--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Nudity and ecchi in anime doesn’t bother me much but there are a lot of anime series these days that tend to have a lot of ecchi in them and more girls than guys like: Yumeria, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Cosplay Complex, Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito, Da Capo and Ai Yori Aoshi all of these animes have lots of fanservice and almost no plot at all and not to mention that a lot of them were made after hentai games.
I have nothing against an ecchi anime with a good plot like This ugly and beautiful world, Tenjou Tenge, Divergence Eve - Misaki Chronicle (those girls have HUGE breasts btw), Midori no Hibi etc.
Anyway it would be nice to have an anime like Love Hina but with male characters instead of girls. <!--emo&:D--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Too much ecchi is horrible in my opinion. I haven't seen it but Agent Aika irks me to no end with the endless panty shots.

I like echiness in anime, but I agree that too much of it sometimes works against the series.
My humble opinion is that heavily fanserviced series means weak plot on most cases...although I don't complain about it!! I think ecchi animes can be fun..eg Green Green. The whole purpose was echhi (3 guys trying to cop a feel or peek in the shower, thats funny!), which was fine by me. However, i dont like it when a show pointlessly has fanservice when the whole plot is about something else. Right now, i dont like how Midori no Hibi has had nudity in each and every episode. It just cheapens the show and the characters.
Well, my stand on the eechi issue (and the porno issue) is I'm okay with it if it's needed to tell the story. If that panty shot or bra needs to be seen in the scene to move the story along i.e guy lifts up a skirt or something, then it's justified. When it's just there not playing any purpose whatsoever as in girl is standing and whoops! panty shot!... I would call that a waste of cells/time.
