I don't care what anybody else thinks. I say the more panty shots, the better. The only problem I have with all the numerous panty shots is that in both Agent Aika and Najica Blitz Tactics, all the babes, including the main characters, all seem to have ONLY white cotton panties. This is really starting to bug me. I mean, come on, how about some imagination here? How about some red panties, or purple panties, or how about some pretty pink panties? Ecchi in anime? i think its funnie. it's only good when its a funny anime. considering im a girl thats what i think. but then again, i dont reallie get a offended by that kind of thing. =P

It's OK i belive. Pretty funny. Only sometimes it's too muc. when storyline is less important than next bra or panties it begins to be boooring.

Ecchi is what makes anime it's own rather then ebing some regular cartoon and yea i support it *goes off to watch ebichu* and yea if you don't know what ebichu is go watch it =D

Hokay... dunno if I think Ecchi is what makes anime its own, but I think it does hold some place within the genre.
Personally, I think there could be less. There are times when I think it's very well placed (such as when Aska's skirt flies up in Evangelion while on the naval battleship). Then there are times when I think it's rediculous and only serves to take away from the story. I think the overly large breasted women look silly to put it bluntly and it doesn't do anything to me to see some young mans head disappear between two huge fleshy mounds of PURE HAPPINES--- *ahem* er... where was I. Oh yes... and I mean seriously... Why is it that every anime guy who gets assaulted with these wonders of nature loses himself to the released floodgates of blood that either goes rushing to his head or spewing from his nose? I mean... realistically wouldn't we be dancing in bliss, slapping our cheeks against them and buring ourselves further?
You would think that with all the short skirts, panty shots and cleavage spewn about some anime that every male character in it would walk around with a constant erection looking for some form of release for gods sake!

I only prefer it if its there for a reason, pointless fitting of eechi and fanservice shots just cause disturbs me. Then again, if it isn't too much i'll try to tolerate for the good of watching anime <!--emo&^_^--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='happy.gif' /><!--endemo--> .
Depends on the genre. When they stick it into a genre that doesn't really need fanservice, it becomes pointless.

It's funny most of the times but there are times when it is used poorly. Those are the show that I watch but then give up watching.
If there wasn't ecchi scenes in some of the shows, it would have totally detracted from it. That's where most of the humorous situations come from.
