AIR movie
I just saw the AIR movie, it came out two days ago i think? did anyone else see it yet? i thought it was pretty good & the story of it was good. the art wasn't that good though the tv series art is better in my opinion, but overall i think it was a good movie..^_^
I tried to download it, but it doesn't work. I wanna watch it!!

About the Air movie, is the story just like the series storywise? Is it basically the important parts of the 12 episodes into one hour? Just curious before I watch it. I'm going to enjoy it anyway.

Here's a short cursory review from APN
As mentioned in the quote, I'm going to wait till some more decent group subs this. I'm hoping that Koi will pick this up though (and hopefully the Summer Special). They did quite a solid release on Air TV.

The translations were sometimes off but for the most part, it was okay. I noticed there were a couple small details left out of some translations.
The timing was bad. Some lines weren't timed properly. Some...were...timed...like...this. Some weren't even timed at all.
The editing gradually got worse and worse as you watched the episode. A lot of typos like "collegue".
Even typesetting had some errors. There were two lines with default styles (yellow font pt. 20)
Encoding, as name omitted pointed out, had errors as well. Jaggies here and there during motion scenes, but there wasn't much motion so it's not that big of a problem. The encode is definitely not worth its size.
I'm sure anyone who actually gives a crap about the opinions here on anime-planet will wait for one of the dozen other Air subbers to do it properly.
BTW... the song "Aozora" playing at the end of the movie really choked me up =..)

I'll be keeping my eyes out for this for sure. AiR was a very touching series and I've been looking forward to the movie every since the last episode. Gonna have to keep my eyes open.
Well, i just wait the DVD import to my country... cause wanna add for my collection... although it'll take some time, but i'll wait for it! i'm just can't wait to watch the AIR movie! i bet it'll be a great movie! :)

I was planning on waiting for Triad to sub this, they announced it but it will take quite a while for them to finish. Their work subbing Beyond the Clouds was the best fansub job I have ever seen. I can't imagine the professionals doing a better job than they did.

So I guess Koi won't be subbing the movie? I thought they did a pretty good job with the series back when it was released in the winter.

It was so sad T_T the story was kinda different from the series but it was so cute. i loved misuzu in her yukata.
