I was just wondering if anyone here owns the Region 1 DVD release of Haibane Renmei, I loved the series and I was thinking about making this the next series I'd collect, but I wanted to see how good they were.
I know Geneon(Pioneer) is usually pretty good about their series, I just wanted to see if anyone had any firsthand knowledge of the overall disc quality.

I bought the haibane dvds, with the art box.

i think pioneer/geneon did a pretty good job with it compared to the other companies. the menu is well done with background music. it includes limited edition pencil boards in... i think it was 3 out of 4 discs, if you can still get your hands on them. the video quality is great as is the audio. the subs are fine, i don't know about the dubs cause i never bothered with it.

They are very good, I'm really enjoying them. I have the artbook and the first 3 DVD's in the collection, and I'm planning on getting the last volume later next month hopefully.

They are very good....Pioneer/geneon did very good in creating the dvds.I am hoping to buy them but my dad says its a waste of money. ¬_¬

I have the Japanese Region 2 set. The music and artwork are gorgeous. The region 2 set doesn't come with any cool features.
