If you absolutly had to choose only one anime/manga to watch/read for the rest of your life, what would it be, and why?
I, of course, would choose Fullmetal Alchemist. It's true to life when it comes to karma. Equivelant exchange; to get you must give something of equal value.
this principal is real in just about everything... especially christmas. That's why I like this show...
(not to mention the fact that it's pretty funny sometimes) ^_^

One manga or anime... now that's a truly hard question... I'd go for... School Rumble, I just love it, has comedy, romance and even action so I'd go with that one

Just one? Well, it's a hard choice, but I'd say Pokemon. I know it's not the absolute best, but hey, if I'm only going to watch one thing for the rest of my life, it might as well be something with a lot of episodes. [:)]
Fullmetal Alchemist! It's like the greatest anime ever. or so they say...oh well they got me hooked on it. oh i'd choose the anime as in dvd.
I could read Naruto forever... I like it because it always keeps me guessing. Maybe I'm just stupid, but I can never guess who will win the fights. What I'm trying to say is, I like its unpredictability. Plus, I don't think it's gonna end anytime soon, so that way I won't get bored with it soon. XD
I love FLCL, Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist. I can't choose just one. XP

Sailor Moon! It's long and fun! And stupid! And silly! And yay! xD
I'm thinking Naturo. It is not the best anime ever; however, there are bunches of episodes out now and the potential for more episodes and more characters is great. The main characters are so young there is a great deal for them to do. The conception of various clans in contention for power means the creators can always bring out new challenges. There are other shows that are arguably better looking and better developed, but eventually so and so will realize they are in love with so and so or they will obtain revenge or they will save the universe or whatever. The characters in Naruto are not facing challenges that can only be overcome with one time only life changing sacrifices. They can grow old comfortable within in their world while I watch.
