The scan seems to be good quality. It's okey I guess. But I think you can try to make the quality a little better.
Also on the text. The text kinda blends with the background. I like the font though.
The background seems to be a bit plain. It seems that you blended 2 types of like aquaish blue. Maybe you should try to blend more colors like add a little green or something.
Well, that's all I gotta say. Lol. I think. *thinking* Uhhh...Yeah.

The scan does need to be better quality. I think the background could be better too, when I see this scan it makes me think of the beach or a summery field or something XD; I dont know about the background you have, if your going to use this kind of background incorporate other colors into it and try not to make it so bright, it hurts your eyes. It looks really grainy too, try adding a little smart blur, it might take our some of the noise and grain. With the font, its not that bad but I'd use a different font, a more happy summery one. I also noticed the whole background has some pixelation around in places. Try saving it to web to get better quality. Well, this is really long xD; I hope I helped some.
