Gungrave - Bunji - Hellfire
1 Page: [ 1 ]
This is a wallpaper I decided to start working on... Since they're both the same picture with just different color blackgrounds I didn't want to spam up the forum with just different colors of the same background. Due to hosting issues... on the blue background Bunji's eye is gray rather than red.
The background, the flame, was made from scratch, I made by loosely following a tutorial.
I was thinking about adding a little bit more... anyone have any suggestions?

The reason why I made it two colors was because... well, the first color was more of a hellfire feel, the second color was the color of Bunji's actual flame (he had special attacks in the game which consisted of blue flames).

Mmm The red one looks better... but you'll have to work on the scan, i think the extraction is not good enought, i can see the cutting lines there...
Another thing, the character seams like flying there... try to get it more into the wall (i don't know how to say it in english... but i think you understand what i meant)
Keep up working! Nice start!
Good luck!

Hmm... honestly I thought it looked more like he was anchored to the floor...
I don't really understand what you mean about 'more into the wall' but I'll work on the outlines.

Don't worry!, i don't have much experience on walling... so.. just work on the outlines... Make sure your lasso tool is at 1 pixel (or 0.5) and also to zoom in around 300-400%...
and wait 4 more comments... I'm sure someone could guide you better than me =P
Good luck!
As said by clarings you need to get rid of the outline around the scan, need to blend it better with the background and try to make it feel that is standing on something i had too the feel he was flying :P .
It seems a little empty to me too, maybe add something like flames following some sort of wind but maybe blending more the scan will get rid of this feeling.

Hmm... Well I was thinking about adding a broken glass effect, like maybe cutting up one of the bottom corners or maybe putting a few bullet holes and some cracks in the picture...
I'll try and fill some empty space, right now I'm working on getting rid of the outline and I'm about half way done.
Edit: The outline has been removed.

It took me about 2 or 3 hours.

Ok quite a good job with the outlines in some parts the scan is a little jagged but the bigger thing is that it need to blend with the background, the scan stand out too much.
Hmm... any suggestions on how to do that? (by the way, the scan looks jagged because the scan is jagged, it was a scan of a polygonal figure so it has edges that shouldn't be there and such, there's a few spots that look like extra black pixelation but that's actually just some of his torn overcoat)
