This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Hello to you all who love Mahou Sensei Negima. Let us shorten the title. MSN. Hehe XD. I just had the number 3 of the manga. How many manga there is? I do LOVE Asuna and Negi. The action is great, don't you think so?

It's a very good series. I watched the anime before reading the mangas... which so far, they hold much more information than the anime did... like from the very begining... it showed negima's sister seeing him leave on the train from london. The anime didn't do that...

to tell the truth, I haven't gotten much of a chance to read the manga, but I'm sure it's much more detailed than the anime, like always... (ie: fruits basket, fullmetal alchemist, naruto, and the recent bleach)

MSN is very entertaining, and I believe it will be more epic and successful than the author Ken Akamatsu's previous work, Love Hina, because of the sheer number characters' backstories he has to explain (31 students!! Not to mention tons of other enigmatic side characters). Currently, scans from Japan has the story placed in volume 15. Here in the states, volume 10 is expected to come out but has not been officially announced on the publisher's web site. It gets crazier from volume 10 and on. I won't give any spoilers, but unlike the kyoto arc, which took up 3 volumes, the mahou-fest arc is currently taking up 7 volumes (including volume 9)! That is like half of the Love Hina series, whose story arcs don't last beyond a single volume.

On a different note, the anime was a disappointing offshoot to the manga, especially towards the end. Like what happened with Love Hina, studio Xebec runs out of money and has to rush things to end it. Oh well. Maybe they'll revive the series and have a crazy plot device to nullify everything that occurred in the last 3 eps.

I've read up to vol 14? I think that's the latest volume out. I love the Mahou-festival arc, Vol. 13 is my favorite (I love the cover) only because I am a Nagi fan. There is suppose to be another anime produced as like a stand alone, it doesn't follow the old tv series or the manga...I think.

I've read some of the manga, and it's not bad, but not really my type. I really like Akamastu's drawing style, but I'm not a fan of his storylines really >_>; I find them hard to get in to xP

I love this series. It's much better than Love Hina (the mangaka's previous work). My favorite couples are Setsuna x Konoka and Asuna x Negi. I like Kaede too, she's too cool.

The manga is way better than the anime. Same with the Love Hina manga::anime comparison. The manga is drawn better and somehow just seems better also, probably cause of the artwork quality.

The fights were totally kick ass at the Mahora Festival dealy. They're way better than any of the fights that I've read in any other manga ever... cept maybe One Piece, which actually has Luffy get his ass handed to him time to time. Same with Negi. He gets pwned by everyone.

The best characters of the series, IMO, are Sakurazaki Setsuna, Kagurazaka Asuna, that ninja girl Kaede, and Negi. Setsuna... her name just somehow is badass for me. And besides, she's pretty much a lesbian. Asuna... sailor moon x Naru from Love Hina?? When I read, I give the characters different voices, so somehow, I gave asuna the dub voice for Sailor Moon (the person). Kaede, just because... she's chill like that. And Negi... who's a lucky bastard.

The series gets better and better as it goes, which is not something many mangaka can get their works to do.

Yeah, Mahou Sensei Naegima a.k.a Magister Negi Magi or... Negima!
One good manga from Ken Akamatsu. I really like this manga.
The storyline is good, since it's like combination of Love Hina and some "fighting" storyline.
The battle scenes are really cool, yet the love stories are also good and funny.

The manga is way better then the serious. I have read all of the manga up to date, and it is way better then the way. For instance, the anime doesn't go into great detail about everyones past. Unlike in the anime, the manga does explain everyones past very well. Well almost everyone at least. I'm still alittle confused on Chao Rinshen past. Anyway, this manga is one my favorite ones now, and I can't wait until the next volume comes out next.

I quite like the series but the anime was rather crappy I must say. Same goes to Akamatsu's previous work: Love Hina. I have been pretty up to date with the manga...I use torrents to dl chapters so I'm not too sure as to which volume I'm at but I get to read it and that is all that matters to me at the moment. Sorry to say this, but I think the best work that Akamatsu has done is definetly Love Hina. And being a romance comedy lover, Love Hina is probably the best manga that I have ever read. Its all good! ^^b

Thanks you guys for giving sooo many positive comments, compared to the previous topic I posted. Hm.. I agree with you that Kaede is really cool. I have the comic, which is Malay. So they took the chinese names. But I sort to understand which characters you're talking about. Is the manga still continuing? Now, which number is it?
