I hate Gundam
I really don't know why I hate it. I can deal with it and stuff but I just... I don't like it at all...no matter how hard I try ;__; Man, I'm so stupid, I shouldn't be putting this up...I'm gonna get killed by the mecca otakus...and there's a lot of them *sniff**whimper*...I'm sorry...so sorry ;;;;;-______________-;;;;;

Haha, I don't like the whole mecha genre either. it's boring to me. Although Gundam is popular for a reason, maybe good storyline? I've never watched the whole thing.

I don't really know about Gundam, cause I watched it when I was 10 and didn't really understand it, and now I just don't bother looking it up.
The Mechas are allright I think, It's mostly the charrs which I don't really like.
I have something against Kenshin :P It's his voice I think and he's such a fool.
Really a silly main charr. A guy has to have a manly voice; he just sounds gay..

Souka? I think kidou senshi Gundam is the best mecha-genre anime. i'm even collecting it's model kits. Weird...don't look at it's cover. maybe you hadn't watch the whole anime. if you dont like the classic one, try to watch the new one like gundam seed. it has great gundam and storyline. dont worry, I wont kill you ^_^

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and no otakus would kill you for not liking what they like. They would just hate you and talk about you. Now, if you were bashing Dragonball Z, THEN you might have something to worry about...

I hate the mecca genre too...Boring as heck! It was hard for me to even sit through NGE...

That's ok, Gundam's not for everyone. I watch the series meself, but I a few things against it too. A good chuck of the time the lead character is some weay kid, ever since the first series came out. My favor series is the 08th MS Team since it focuses on the average joe trying to survive the war. No super souped up fancy over the top Mech, just what they have to work with. That is how the real world generally works, you got to work with you got.

I don't really like mecha themed animes, and I never liked Gundam before. However Gundam Seed isn't that bad. According to my brother, the older Gundams focused more on politics and such, and this Gundam series is the first one not to.

Hit you? what for? everybody has different tastes. For example, I love the mecha genre and Gundam while others hate them....but also many others love things I hate....like the Zelda and Mario series *runs* now seriously, the point is...don`t worry, nobody is going to hit you or anything like that just because you like different stuff ^_^
Heh, hating gundam really is too broad of a statement. the anime gundam consists of 20+ series which take place in different timelines and setting. i'm sure you'll find something you like among them.
i recommand Zeta, Turn-A, and SEED. though those 3 are all gundam anime, they are so completely different.
