I don't really like gunam wing either XD
cuz i don't really like to watch mecha stuff

Well if there wasn't hate in the world, there'd be no balance now would there? I personally enjoy Gundam, except Gundam Seed. My god I hate that series so much. I absolutely want to murder Kira myself. That bastard's got nothing on Amuro or Camille. I don't see why so many people like Seed. I personally think thats one of the worse Gundam franchises ever. The stale mecha designs don't help it in my opinion either. But yeah, hating is okay. Unless its racial hating. Then its a different thing. Or hatred of having opinion or choice. That would go into the same category as race hating.

Now, now, you just happend to see a bad Gundam series that's probably it. Did your fisrt Gundam series was Gundam Wing, because that one suck and is allright to hate it. Or may be Gundam Seed Destiny, that's another Gundam serie that you cant help but hate. I recomend that you give Gundam a second chance, watch Gundam Seed, that's a good Gundam clasic. I did, Gundam Wing was my first Gundam serie and I hated it and thougt that Gundam was crap. But I gave GS and now thaks to that Im a Gundam Maniac. You can always watch the original Mobile Suit Gundam, that's one of the best Gundam Series ever made.

You sick F@$@#!! How can you hate Gundam Seed!! Ok I agree kira sucks, and yes Amuro and Kamille are better pilots and can kick kira's ass in 3 sec. And yes Gundam Seed storie is a ripoff of Mobile Suite Gundam. But is so well made and told that over all is a good series and one of the best Gundam to date. Now Gundam Seed Destiny, I won't put my hands on fire for that pice of crap.
No one can blame you for not liking mecha genres. Its not like a bunch of people will gang up on you for not liking it. We all like things and hate things. As for me, im not really a fan of the Gundam series, but i do like Full Metal Panic. So no worries ^^

Hehe, I can't blame you if yu don't like it. Everybody is different and if everybody likes everything...let's say good bye to creativity people. I'm a mecha fan but that's not the only genre I like in anime I also like other Genres one type of thing for too long can get pretty boring. Don't worry about it, if anyone will assault you for giving your opinion, that guy is a narrow minded simpleton...to put it in a simpler and less harsh word...he's a very childish person...immature...

It's ok everyone have different opinion. But I don't see how could anyone not like it but what ever.
I am rather open minded. Characters matter to me, the concept, plot and storyline really do matter of course and the concept to gundam (of any type) is huge mecha fighting. But I guess I don't mind it really, I enjoy it but I don't obsess over the gundam thing. But then again, i'm terribly good at accepting things for how they are and just enjoying what I want.
I can see why people don't like gundam, it can get a bit stereotypical and it's more for those who like a bit more of a technical aspect to the concept of whatever they watch (as such, I enjoy that technical aspect).

Dont be scaried either. I also hate Gundam. I hate all mecha anime excpet for Full Metal Panic and Eureka 7.
We can't blame you for saying your own opinion, especially since it's not that offensive at all. I'm a huge Gundam SEED/Destiny fan and I entirely understand you. Everyone hates some type of genre; for example, I hate hentai. It's ok that you don't like Gundam. ^_^

I agree with everybody else when they say you don't have to worry, nobody is going to hurt because you hate a specific genre of anime. Now if you were hating on the fans of that genre, that another story.
Personally, I not a big gundam/mecha fan myself. Its actually rather rare for me to watch anything that is mecha now-a-days, since I'm just not into the genre and don't bother watching it. As for gundam, the only ones I liked out of it were 08th MS Team, Wing (my first one), and 0063 (or was it 36? I don't remember). Aside from that the other have yet to appeal to me.
Anyway, don't worry because everyone ends up hating something many else happen to love. I happen to not like (but not hate) Ghost in the Shell, where as almost everyone else loves it to death. Just like I love the Pokemon series, where as many hate it with a passion. ^_^

Wow, people in this forum are really nice! For you to say something like that elsewhere, you'd get bashed by otakus. I also don't like the gundam series. The only two I could actually sit thru were Wing and Seed. Wing was pushing it, though. I had no love for the main characters or their female counterparts. To say the least, there are other mecha series that I did enjoy.
Some may disagree with what i'm gonna say here. it's true that mecha anime may be boring at some extent, counting gundam in. but this is not entirely true. evangelion, technically is not really mecha in genre but more of a psychological. vandread rocked my socks: best music and soundtrack, fast-paced storyline and very good animation. and there are many others.
going back to gundam, the onlygundam series that i liked was gundam wing and endless waltz. the entirety of the story is quite a bit boring but as a whole it wasn't as bad as you think (i think some people just watch some anime and throw away their brains in the trash... though there really isn't much to think about anyway). but for the other gundam series... nah. i don't like them but i do not hate them either. it's more of a neutral feeling.
i'm not attacking any of you who hate the series just in case my post gets misinterpreted. it's all a matter of personal taste.
but one thing i really really like about gundam... they action figures. though i only collect female figures, i admire the gunplas... especially the perfect grade models.
