Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

I've heard a whole lot about the Jinchuu arc, but is it really worth picking up and reading? Can I get a plot synposis on it as well, if at all possible? >_>

I've had all of the manga for about a year or maybe more and I *still* have not gotten to reading the Jinchuu arc. I did skip ahead and took a peek at the end of the manga and the 2 extra chapters released, though.

I'm like you as well Hostile. I've read the Jinchuu arc and I found it really enjoyable. The Jinchu arc also covers Kenshin's past and alot more (and I mean ALOT) is shown in the manga; like all the enemies from the Bakumatsu who have been defeated by Kenshin and have now teamed up with Enishi. It was a good read for me at least.

I can't wait until the Jinchuu arc! I've seen the anime, so all of the manga that Viz has released up to this point has been stuff I've already seen. Grr... It seems like the Kyoto arc is stretching on forever.

Yes it's a whole lot worth of picking. Jinchuu ark gets even more serious, and explains the past of kenshin. It's about vengeance, grudge, atonement ... it's a must for any RK fan to finish the all arcs, all volumes. And then head on to the latest OVA, a very heart wrenching series.

Its well worth picking up for any kenshin fan!!! It brings back the story from the original OVA with enishi all grown up and after kenshin for killing tomoe. Kaoru gets kidnapped......and the kenshin gang go after enishi to some island. Its pretty cool coz theres like these 4 gatekeeper guys who tag along with enishi and theyre matched up against yahiko (yea he gets pretty strong coz he get the kimaya kasshinryu's succession technique), sanosuke, saitoh and aoshi. Dunno why they didn't put these fights in the last OVA coz it wouldve rocked!!!...and unlike the OVA theres a happy ending...y did they hafta come up wiv that OVA I wouldve been happy without it >.

I say its definitly worth the read. Jinchuu is the most important and most thrilling Arc of Rurouni Kenshin. There is plenty of action, drama, and romance to around for everybody. Its definitly my favorite. There are just so many twist and turns that ends up being such a fun ride from beginning to end.

So how many volumes total are there in the Kenshin manga? Viz is at 16, I believe. I can't find a definate number anywhere (although I haven't done a full google search yet).

This sounds so promising to me, as I didn't like the endings of the Kenshin TV series nor the ending from the OVAs. Thanks for rekindling the hope in me for one of my favorites.
