This is my 1st paper almost completely made by myself. I wanted to make people` faces appearing from cloudes, but I dunno how to do it. Can somebody tell me how can I make it or give some ideas to correct paper in any ways? Please^.^

PS: after 3 weeks I have this... Well, there isn`t done much, but- I collored Ed (em... I really tried to do it well...), found a great mistake in picture (...it is too terible to say... I`m ashamed) and made the most important thing for this fanart- wrote the title of the anime. And it`s still very grey and gloomy.

Hmmm.. I like your idea, although it seems pretty hard to create such a setting. I think your scan on the right side needs some fixing up. I suggest following some tutorials on how to create etc, Goodluck!
Hi Kaori!
First thing, can you tell us a bit more of what your concept for this wall is? Looking at it, my first impression is the guy is reminiscing the past or memories or something to do with the rest of the characters - is this what you have in mind? Maybe we can be more helpful once you give us more idea with what you're wanting to achieve esp. for someone who's not familiar with this series - myself including.
And why the dull gray?!? The characters look like they can be happy and colourful .. :(
Anyways, here's a random idea from me:
Keep the main guy where he is, perhaps colour and de-transparent him so he stands out as your centre of attraction. With the rest, I'm thinking maybe circle and array them following a quarter-circle path surrounding the guy on bottom right corner. The rest of the space on the left can be just really simple background filler since your foreground is already quite busy - also simple is good for icon space on the left.
Also, your resolution is not standard although it is 4:3 ratio - which is good, no cropping. So you could either choose 1280x960 or 1024x768 which are the closest 'standard' res to what you've got now. And don't forget your siggy - else auto reject!
Hope that helps, good luck with it!

I think the idea is really there, and after supermonchi said all i tht, i think the only suggestions i'ma make is if possible color ed ^^ cause i think that will make the wall awesome, and continue with the bg, cause i really think this wall has potential, keep up the good work and i wanna see the final product!
That looks nice with the whole spooky theme Kaori, though i can't give many tips since i havent created one yet myself ^_^ Speaking of 1st, i want to create a wallpaper but i'm not sure of what product to download or buy.
Which do you guys perfer, Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro?

Supermonchi, thank you for your advices, especially about arraying faces- this is what I think picture really need, and yeah, your impression was right. Generally I wanted to show Ed surrounded by faces of dearest people, who died, and the sun with his brother`s face should symbolized Ed`s aspiration for his purpose (that`s why bg is so gloomy)
avjai, oh, thanks, it`s really very pleasent to hear))) Colouring Ed? Yeah, at 1st I wanted to do it, but it turned out to be too diffocult for me, I couldn`t find good colours and make right lightning... I should have a lot of practice at that)
Zer0SamuraiX, heh, if it really looks mysterious, I`m happy, I was affraid it looked too dull^_^
Yulaw, arigato*^_^*
Artfreak13, thank you))) it`s great if the picture really looks spooky!) Good luck with your works)
