Anime or school?
Like some people said...school sux and boring! Really, sometimes I didn't even learn anything at school, I'd rather stay at home but my parents don't allow me to skip school. Anyways, school is still the most important but actually not really for me. I don't know why everything has to be decided by school especially those stupid colleges. And what I don't understand is some of the stuffs I learned at school I don't even think it would be useful for my future, it's just some pointless stuffs. Whatever it is, school is still the most important though it is the suckest thing ever and I really do hate school.
When i think of those days, i just can't help but wish to go back there. school was never fun for me and it sucked big time. i can say that this is one of the things i regret so much because i did not live it to the fullest. the only fun at school for me are my friends and their company. but it's too late now. =(

A computer and-or television emit unhealthy rays into a person's vision or body. School does not and teaches necessary subjects for a successful life. Does anime do that? No. Anyone can live without anime but without literacy and education, you are not much. It is doubtful anyone would learn if it were not for school. Where would someone get the idea of learning from books if they did not learn how to read from school. Only a few people actually learn by themselves completely without school. They are mostly people who are less fortunate, as well who understand the need for a well off life.
Sure, sometimes people say they do not need whatever they are learning in school, but in high school and under, people mostly do not know what their career will be. That is why people must learn as much as they can to prepare for a good future. If someone is sure what they want to do and it is not a mere dream or something they cannot accomplish then they should go to a specialized school for that. It is why there are colleges for different types of people and professions, but there are schools for people underaged for special careers too.
It is stupid to choose anime over school but those people create the community more intelligent people can laugh at.

It's true, we could never really live with just anime, we all need to go out and get a life, get a job, pay our own bills, raise a family. Anime... I guess you can say it's just a favorite pass-time or obsessive hobby. ^^;;

Well... if you don't like school, what else would you do then? At several points, I've hated school, but now it's cool, I study and learn, try my best to do well, and the results are amazing. Anime isn't bad either, just don't let it take control over your school life or anything like that sort.

Dude, you need to put your priorities in order.
Anime is only a hobby. You may give it some importance, but there are other more vital things in life that will be more useful than watching anime. School is one of them.

Yeah, but the problem here is, this guy is ALREADY in the dead line (AKA his notes are bad).
If you have good notes at school, you can easily focus on something else, but if you don't... well, I think it's pretty obvious.
I would so go with anime
Well...? It's surprising but sometimes anime actually gives us much more knowledge
than school does. For example, in Detective Conan, you actually learned to use your
brain a little, and you get to know a few of the chemical uses. And some of those
poison's name and how the results will be. In Yakitate, we actually knew that there's
another Blood Type rather than the usual boring A, B, AB, or O. Which is Bombay
blood and etc. Which is 100% true. And explanation about bread etc etc.
Anyhow, school is a necessary for us if we want to gain common knowledge though.

Um i would rather say anime...to me school and education isnt a big problem...i guess watching too many anime makes my mind more towards fantasy stuff than reality...

That's obvious, school. If you don't go to school then to put it straight you don't have much of a future (I mean you don't have a good future at all). School is a must and everybody knows that. Anime is also a very important thing to have in your life. I personally love anime, it is a major portion of my life. There are millions of people that love anime and who could blame them. Although anime is very important in one's life, school is always more important then anime (remember that always). You need to balance the two so you can enjoy anime without hurting your grades in school.
Dear lord go for the SCHOOL.
if you really need a decent reason, better education = more money = more free time = early retirement = god awful huge bunch of free time for anime because you're not working minimum wage jobs! ...at least that's what my mama said XD

School is definitely so much more important than anime. school leads to knowledge, jobs, financial stability, relationships (YAY), experience, etc etc. not necessarily in that order..... anime is not necessary for life and even though it is fun to watcch and talk about, i think school definitely has more priority. i think it's kinda funner just because you get to deal with live people instead of cartoons. if i had to choose, it'd be school 100%.
