First Wallpaper, Soul Calibur

Well, I'm almost done with my first wallpaper.Finally. but just one more thing.
Since my character is Sasuku (whatever her name was), I decided for a sunset type background, and it took some time getting it right. The woman isn't in it yet, cause their's a problem, like so. With the scan, im trying to take the woman from the white background, and add her to the wallpaper. Is there any way to do this?

This theme isn't acually my only choice; there's a rainy, dark like image in my mind.
Guess I have some thinking to do.
